Chicken Soup Daily Devotion Review

Ps. I have never seen a worse Daily Devotion book from Chicken Soup company than this one. The devotions feel very flat and shallow and quotes from the people are like what do you even mean by saying this way?

First things first their bible verse today didn't even agree with their devotional from Job 38:7 but I am adding all the verses to surrounding the passage right here Job 38:1–11.

God Speaks Now To Job
"Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind and said, "Who is this that darkens counsel [questioning my authority and wisdom] By words without knowledge? [Job 35:16] "Now gird up your loins like a man, And I will ask you, and you instruct Me! "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell Me, if you know and have understanding. "Who determined the measurements [of the earth], if you know? Or who stretched the [measuring] line on it? "On what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, When the morning stars sang together And all the sons of God (angels) shouted for joy? "Or who enclosed the sea with doors When it burst forth and went out of the womb; When I made the clouds its garment And thick darkness its swaddling band, And marked for it My [appointed] boundary And set bars and doors [defining the shorelines], [Jer 5:22] And said, 'This far you shall come, but no farther; And here your proud waves shall stop'? I joyfully declare my oneness in spirit with all humankind. What do you even mean by that? It sounds kind of self-absorbed? 

It should say through God I joyfully declare to celebrate my oneness in Him amongst all His children. That would have been way better quote that wouldn't cause any confusion.

Today, this very moment, is the perfect time to renew my sense of oneness with all humankind❌. 1st issue: my sense of oneness with all humankind is talking with manly intellect not God's. And only God can grow you to renew your oneness with all humankind through the Holy Spirit as a believer if you are believer. So very lazy writing honestly.

Holy Spirit who dwells in me build up and wash over me a renewed sense of ones within me for all my humankind to see Your good glory be glorified amen.

I am thankful for all the times I am able to help a neighbor in need because they are also always were Your children because you made them and through the power of the Holy Spirit they are your children in Spirit too even when they cannot recognize you in front of them protecting them every continued step in their life. I thank You for the angels Your Spirit charges the Angels of Children to watch over every laughing and playing child around me I get to see. I am thankful for all the caring and nurturing families in poorer nations serving those who cannot help themselves holding hands with them. And for all those people whom you have chosen to speak through with Your word and voice to be heard round the globe so that your love and compassion may continue to reign forevermore amen.

I also give thanks to the opportunity to be a loving brother or sister in Christ to those closest to me right underneath my roof as well as those the farthest from my reach I know there is no separation between us no barrier or boundary the true love of God cannot break down between us. Renewed with the Holy Spirit refreshed with a mind and heart of loving thoughts I rejoice with my oneness in the Holy Spirit for all humankind to all humankind amen. Alleluia, Praise the Lord!

Though they did give us a hint about what the devotion was meant to focus on they did not really talk about it at all.

This left white circle thing tells us okay this must be about something with the  Holy Spirit but then their personal quote seems throw it out the window with how self-absorbed it is that is the second circle.
