Nora went to the peaceful protest because she felt strongly about the issue of justice. As planned, the demonstration was silent. The protestors walked in powerful quietness through the downtown area.
Then two buses pulled up. Agitators had arrived from out of town. A riot soon broke out. Heartbroken, Nora left. It seemed their good intentions were fruitless.
When the apostle Paul visited the temple at Jerusalem, people who opposed Paul saw him there. They were "from the province of Asia" (ACTS 21:27) and viewed Jesus as a threat to their way of life.
Shouting lies and rumors about Paul, they quickly stirred up trouble (VV. 28-29). A mob dragged Paul from the temple and beat him. Soldiers came running.
As he was being arrested, Paul asked the Roman commander if he could address the crowd (VV. 37-38). When permission was granted, he spoke to the crowd in their own language, surprising them and seizing their attention (V. 40). And just like that, Paul had turned a riot into an opportunity to share his story of rescue from dead religion (22:2-21).
Some people love violence and division. Don't lose heart. They will not win. God is looking for courageous believers to share His light and peace with our desperate world. What seems like a crisis might be your opportunity to show someone God's love. –Tim Gustafon.

When have you been in a crisis that you couldn't make sense of?
How do you think the Holy Spirit might help you find the wisdom for what to do in that moment?

Do not trust the NRSV Bible translation trust the three below. The NRSV uses words that are opposite of what the Bible versions below mean my pastor warned my congregation about this and I can show you why this version is wrong in the very first verse of the Bible they've screwed it up quite literally.
False Verse Version at the Beginning of the Bible, "The earth was complete chaos (complete chaos incorrect God tells us didn't even have shape let alone anything in it until he created them so complete chaos is an incorrect description as an empty world has no cause and effect because there is nothing to create them and darkness covered the face of the deep (it is not the deep it is covered the face of the waters, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters (wind? Why is the wind mentioned here of all places before earth was made God tells us in translations below very definitively Earth was empty so therefore you could not possibly hear nor define that the wind would even be around and there would be nothing for it to hit itself upon to be heard because nothing was created yet to shape the wind. The verse versions below mention the Spirit of God not the wind of God. This horrid translation makes me so 😡. In the name of the Lord this translation of the Bible is offensive and immediately false testimony. –Lumna10) GENESIS 1:2 NRSV. New Revised Standard. (A bible that says New Revised is probably most likely someone's own understanding and trying to define the mysteries of the Bible without the help of God and definitively without relying on the Holy Spirit, Skylights.)

Corrected Verse Quotation 1: Now the earth was formless, and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the spirit of God was hovering over the waters. Genesis 1:1–2
Corrected Verse 1 was taken from The Amplified Bible 1: "In the beginning God (Elohim) created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth. [Heb 11:3] The earth was formless and void or a waste and emptiness, and darkness was upon the face of the deep [primeval ocean that covered the unformed earth]. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters."
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭AMP‬‬. The Amplified Bible connects itself back to the first Greek and Hebrew Bible and pulls original Greek and Hebrew words and defines them to define a subtext that does exist in the original bible that should never be argued about ever, Skylights. My Student Bible from the Faith Alive Bible's oldest copy was made in 1989, then it was made in 1994 and 2000 my current copy that I own is a 1995 bible and I have had since I was 11 years old. It was given to me by my first pastor in my confirmation class and I have been using it alongside my King James Version ever since and both translations do agree with each other. My Faith Alive Bible book is a New International Version of the Bible and the oldest of its current kind. And the plus on this is you can quote up to 500 verses from it without permission of the publisher in any form.
