Chapter 1: A Heart Devoted to God
"'But only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.'" Luke 10:42

Have you ever felt nervous...fidgety... on edge... cranky? Sort of like your life was falling apart and you were losing control? And even though you knew it and you didn't want to act the way you were, you kept on stomping through your day, lashing out at anybody and everybody who crossed your path-your parents, your brother or sister, your friends, a salesperson?-Elizabeth George.

If you don't know what this experience is like then I will give you a poetic example below for you:
In the corners shadows twitch and twist
A heartbeat's rhythm lost in mist.
Fingers dance on restless on the seam;
Threads of calm unraveling the dream.

The sun peeks through yet clouds hold sway
A storm brews quietly within the fray.
Words like daggers slip from lips
And every glance tightens the grip.

Tension coils like a silent scream
As laughter fades into a distant dream;
The world, a stage, and I, a fool,
Stomping through life forgetting the rule.

A sibling's sigh; a parent's plea.
Each moment feels like betrayal to me.
Yet deep down beneath the rage
Lies a whisper trapped in a cage.
Part 1/2 poem ends. This will be utilized in my stories with the Disney Descendants as this fits several characters of the Live action franchise movies.

Well did you know the Bible talks about and not only shows us the cons of getting too worked up about life and chores in just like we do in our daily lives just to prepare for a major event?
Well, my new friend, you are not alone! This happened to a woman in the Bible-a woman just like you and me— who got too worked up. In fact, she was a wreck! Her name is Martha and Martha was a friend of Jesus. _Elizabeth George. (True_Lumna10)

What Happened?! What put Martha over the edge? (True, Elizabeth George. _Lumna10)
In a few words, "'Jesus and His disciples were coming to her house.'" (To be honest if this happened in our here and now anyone would get sent into an overwhelming flowing fury of trying to impress Jesus by serving and working for him and people are already stuck doing that even today when He is not standing in person right beside you in current time. But that is only a 1/16 about what it means to form a relationship with God and Jesus as a true Christian someone yearning after God's Own Heart. The Jevoah Witness are a bad influence in the way they teach that working acts of kindness for others is working for Jesus is the only way to get to heaven is thoroughly messed up. Jesus doesn't want you to go beyond overpleasing him. He does not want overpleaser the majority of the Pharisees and Sadducees in the four Gospels literally illustrate this without having to say it directly. Jesus continued to preach even after they interrupted him and ignored his advice to stop correcting the Word of God and they refused to listen because they were people pleasers overpleasing people pleasers of only what was the earthly law. Jesus did not spend one on one time with the majority of their groups because he knew they would not believe the truth until it actually occurred before their very eyes.
Throughout the extent of the four Gospels there was only one Pharisee who sought Jesus out to have some things exampled while they were together one on one and that was Nicodemus because he wasn't too buried with the earthly law and did not overplease people. How did Nicodemus follow after God's Own Heart like Mary did when they found themselves in the presence of Jesus? They sat and listened and basked in presences.
Because more than half the time of your relation with God should be 95% of just feeling his presence surround you and hear his voice speak. This is the best Gift God is constantly yearning for from us His creation to just bask and listen to Him in His presence.)

It was Martha, Mary's sister, who is the example of a too worked up woman from the Bible.

(This should have been her happiest day of her life, right?!)
Wow! Now that should have been the best day of Martha's life! But Martha went into a tailspin. Why? Because Martha got too involved in the activities of her life— activities like . . .
