arriving back to la in the early evening, as per request, daniel took liberty back to her own house. and deciding to hang out with her there and make sure she was okay, since he knew violet wasn't free for another couple more hours.
the girl was tucked into her bed, cuddled up with her teddy after taking the pill she was prescribed back in portland. with daniel sat on the bed beside her whilst both watching a show off the tv.
he glanced over to the bedside table next to him, seeing her phone light up with a call before turning back to the screen, continuing to softly run his hand over her hair.
the phone soon lit up again only seconds after the first call rung out.
liberty still unknown to the fact it was happening, daniel debated on if he should mention it. but seeing how relaxed she currently was, he didn't want to disturb her, especially since it took her so long to get to this state.
"will you stay the night, jamesy..?"
"i'll have to call vi.."
"oh.." she quietly sighed. "i forgot about that.."
"do you want me to stay here?"
"no, go hang out with her.." she slightly mumbled.
"you'll be okay here?"
"mh"
"i've still got an hour before vi is finished doing her thing, so i'll keep you company till then," he smiled.
"i just want to sleep.."
"you do that then," he gently ran his hand over her hair and placed a kiss on her forehead.
giving it a couple seconds and seeing as though she had now closed her eyes, he reached over for her phone. attempting to unlock it to see what all the missed messages say, but quickly discovering that her password had been changed.
he instantly knew it had something to do with aj because liberty hadn't changed her password since she set it back in highschool.
daniel took a deep breath before switching her phone fully onto do not disturb and setting it back down. carefully shuffling as he laid down with her, wrapping his arms around her.
meanwhile, no more than five minutes later, the other housemates sitting out in the dinning room having dinner, were quickly disturbed and shaken by the doorbell ringing and someone repeatedly and loudly knocking.
luckily it wasn't the girls alone, both mateo and sebastian were over and they were the ones to get up to answer the door, while the girl's kept their distance.
