Chapter 69: Ninja Village Arc

Blast and Empty Void charged at each other, preparing to strike. Blast successfully landed a Gravity Knuckle on Void's face, while Void's sword swing was halted midway, failing to connect.

This time, instead of being sent flying, Void remained grounded and quickly retaliated with a downward diagonal double-sword slash. Blast dodged by jumping upward.

Forming two gravity orbs in his hands, he grabs both of Void's wrists before looking at him with a calm and satisfied look.

Blast: "I waited 15 years you know..."

He said, before pinning him to the ground with the immense gravitational force of the orbs, resulting in a crater beneath them.

Blast: "To move into a higher dimension, you need to form the seal with both hands, right?" He asked, his expression remaining calm. "I've spent 15 years perfecting my skills to restrain without killing."

He explained as Empty Void struggled to move his hands.

Void created several glowing spheres that looked like Homeless Emperor's energy blasts and fired them at Blast from behind.

Blast: "The light of divine power..."

Blast responded by generating multiple dark energy orbs of equal size, colliding them midair and canceling out the attack.

Blast: "Is useless against me." He said, while aura farming.

He then launched a focused gravity sphere from his palm, striking Void's chest to tighten the restraint.

Empty Void: "GH!"

Blast: "You will receive treatment in the head quarters from n—"

Before he could finish, two kunais were lunged and inches away from Empty Void's eyes before they were kicked away by Blast.

Blast: "DON'T INTERFERE UNNECESSARILY!!" He said with irritation.

Sonic: "Why don't you finish him off?" He asked with frustration.

Before anyone could speak, Empty Void let out a chuckle. Blast looked down at him only to see him biting the black orb on his chest.

Empty Void: "Didn't expect this, did you Blast?" He said, before he successfully moved his hands out of the restraints.

Void formed a rapid hand seal, and Blast noticed it immediately. Reacting fast, he fired two more gravity spheres, trying to restrain Void even more.

The effort was useless however, resulting in Void teleporting into hyperspace in an instant.

Ha Ha Ha                    Ha Ha                      Ha

Blast, Izuku, Sonic, and Flashy Flash stood there, confused.

Flash: "HEY!! HE GOT AWAY!!"

Sonic: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!"

Izuku: "............!!"

Blast POV: "He absorbed... my power of darkness which seals the power of light... What's going on?" He thought to himself, even more confused.

His thoughts were interrupted however as Empty Void launched another Dimension Slash.

Blast quickly took hold of Izuku, Sonic and Flash, using a portal to transport them out of harm's way. The slash cleaved the ground in half, bisecting mountains and clouds in the distance as collateral damage.

Izuku POV: "Okay I guess I wasn't the only one with catastrophic attacks."

Sonic: "What is this... a genjutsu?" He asked with awe.
