The sky was barely gray when Izuku slipped his boots on, tying them tight. His expression was calm, but his eyes carried the same sharpness he had before a fight.

He opened the dorm doors and stepped out, cold air hitting his face as he rolled his shoulders.

He walked straight toward the front gate — only to hear footsteps behind him.

Aizawa stood there, scarf hanging loosely, hair messy as usual, coffee in hand.

Aizawa: "You're leaving early."

Izuku didn't flinch.

Izuku: "Going to train with the old man."

Aizawa's stare sharpened — trust and suspicion doing a shitty little dance in his eyes.

Aizawa: "It's the weekend. That doesn't give you free rein."

Izuku stopped mid-step, turning his head just enough to show annoyance.

Izuku: "Relax. I would've destroyed the security system already if I was gonna leave for good."

Aizawa's grip on his cup tightened.

Aizawa: "Watch your mouth."

Izuku smirked.

Izuku: "Guess I hit a nerve then huh." He said as he turned towards the gate. "I'll be back tomorrow so don't worry."

Aizawa sighed before taking a sip of his coffee.

Aizawa: "This kid will end up making all my hair grey."

The gate clicked shut behind Izuku.

He exhaled. Low, steady, but annoyed.

Izuku: "Fucking surveillance life..."

Few hours later

Izumi crashed into the ground again, dust kicking up around her. Sparks flickered over her body as she groaned and sat up.

Izumi: "Okay... maybe I overdid that one."

Bakugo stood a few feet away, arms crossed, unimpressed as always.

Bakugo: "You think? You just made a crater big enough to bury your dumbass."

Izumi glared, brushing dust off her knees.

Izumi: "Morning to you too, Katsuki."

He folded his arms tighter, tiny explosions popping between his fingers like angry sparks.

Bakugo: "You're supposed to train, not reenact a meteor strike."

Izumi: "Hey, at least I'm trying. You just stand there yelling like a coach who failed P.E."

Bakugo snorted.

Bakugo: "Keep talking, Pikachu. You'll fry yourself before you get good."

Izumi smirked, stepping back into stance. Lightning flared along her arms again, stronger this time. The ground cracked beneath her feet as she focused, the air humming with power. Bakugo's eyes tracked her movements closely.

Bakugo: "Better. Still sloppy."

Izumi: "You're such a positive influence."

Her control slipped for half a second. The blast backfired, throwing her off balance and launching her several meters back into the dirt. She groaned, coughing through the smoke.

Bakugo: "And now you're back to useless."

Izumi grabbed a rock and threw it at him.

Izumi: "You're lucky I don't blast you."
