The gym thudded with stomps and claps as distorted music played. Sweat covered the floor while Class 1-A pushed through their dance routine for what felt like the hundredth time.

Kirishima: "We'll have to clear outta the gym soon! But we should have enough time for one more run through!" He said while he was sitting on the ground.

Ashido clapped her hands before she signalled the group.

Ashido: "Look alive! And one, and two, and three. And one, and two, and three. And pose!
Then Aoyama goes to the center and Yagi books it offstage."

Izumi: "On it!"

Aoyama: "Oui!"

Ashido turned to face Izumi.

Ashido: "Yagi, You're still lacking passion.
So bring the fire!"

Izumi: "Yes!" She replied with a smile.

Sero: "I was scared we were gonna seem like amateurs. But things are looking good. The band and dance teams are stepping up their games and putting in the work. Guess it helps that
Ashido's a merciless coach." He said to Kirishima.

Kirishima: "Yeah. Dancing's her thing, so she's taking this seriously. I think Bakugo fired everyone up. And not just the band members." He replied back.

Yaoyorozu: "I'll admit, I am getting a little nervous.

Jiro: "Hey, don't improvise during the actual concert." She said to Bakugo.

Bakugo: "Huh?!" He growled.

Jiro: "It's just, not everyone can keep up with you." She explained.

Kaminari: "Why you gotta drag me like that, Jiro?" He complained.

Tokoyami: "I don't think you're the only one she's talking about, friend." He said, putting a hand on his shoulder.

Ashido walked forward, looking at Aoyama who was levitating in the air. We now see Izumi using her telekinesis to hold him in the air while being on stage.

Ashido: "Good job Yagi, thanks to your quirk we don't need anyone to stay backstage while holding Aoyama in the air."

Izumi smiled back.

Izumi: "It's not a big deal." She said.

Suddenly, the gym doors burst open and Hound Dog entered the room, his temper already low and veins popping on his forehead.

Hound Dog: "IT'S ALREADY 9 O'CLOCK! STUDENTS SHOULD'VE CLEARED OUT OF THE GYM BY NOW!!!" He shouted angrily.

Timeskip to the students inside the dorm.

Kaminari: "Woo! I can't sleep!"

Mineta: "Yeah, right? I'm stupid excited!"

They exclaimed, running around like kids waiting to open their christmas presents.

Ashido: "Not so loud! People are sleeping upstairs." She hushed them.

Iida: "I just hope the audience will be that enthusiastic." He said, a drop of sweat deipping from his forehead.

Jiro: "It's probably better if we don't think about it very much." She said with an awkward smile. "Being embarrassed. Worrying what others are thinking. That'll kill our vibe. We should focus on having fun. That's what really matters."

Kaminari: "Yeah, says the girl who was super scared to front the band!"

Jirou: "Shut up, that was a totally different situation."
