The hospital room was filled with the soft beeping of machines and the quiet rustling of sheets as Class 1-A sat scattered in their beds and chairs, recovering from their injuries.

Bandaged and bruised, they carried not just wounds but the heavy weight of failure.

Izumi sat on her bed, arms resting on her knees, her gaze calm and steady. Though she was relieved to know that her brother was alive and now with Bang, there was no sadness on her face—just quiet resolve.

Izumi: "He's alive... that's good enough." She said with a small smile, glancing around at her classmates.

It has been one week since they were hospitalized after the whole war against the Monster Association and the Heroes.

Todoroki, sitting by the window, looked down at the floor, the bandage around his shoulder a reminder of how badly they had been outclassed.

Todoroki: "It wasn't even a fight... Izuku... he didn't even see us as threats, just a bunch of insects." He said, voice flat but serious.

Near the corner, Bakugo leaned against the wall, arms crossed, scoffed at Todoroki's comment.

Bakugo: "No shit, Ice-for-brains. He fought us like he was bored. I'm surprised he didn't yawn while knocking us out." He muttered, arms crossed, though his eyes were narrowed in thought, not anger.

Kirishima, sitting upright in his hospital bed, grimaced as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Kirishima: "I've never felt so... weak. Even when we fought villains before, at least we could do something. But that..." He trailed off, shaking his head. "That wasn't even fight. That was a massacre."

Sero, his arm wrapped in gauze, leaned against the wall with a bitter laugh.

Sero: "I mean, did anyone actually land a hit on him? I thought we were supposed to be future heroes." He said sarcastically, though no one had the energy to argue.

Ashido, arms around her knees, rested her chin on them, her eyes wide but unfocused.

Ashido: "He didn't even look serious. It was like... like he was holding back the whole time." She said quietly, still in disbelief.

Kaminari, sitting backward on a chair, sighed deeply.

Kaminari: "And here I thought all that training meant something... but the way he took us all down like we were nothing?" He shook his head. "What's the point if we can't even scratch him?"

Iida, standing stiffly near the window, adjusted his glasses sharply.

Iida: "Regardless of how powerful Yagi's brother was, that does not excuse our reckless behavior. We should have never gone there." He said firmly, though the tightness in his voice betrayed his guilt.

Jirou sat on her hospital bed, earphone jacks limply dangling from her ears as she sighed, leaning back on her arms.

Jirou: "I mean, I knew he was strong... but that?" She shook her head, glancing toward the others. "That was like fighting the final boss at level 1."

Yaoyorozu sat nearby, a book on her lap that she wasn't even reading, her eyes downcast in thought.

Yaoyorozu: "Even when we fought against villains like the League... we at least had a chance to plan. To think." She said quietly, her hands folded in her lap. "But with him... it was over before we could even think of a strategy."

Kaminari, sitting backward on his chair with his arms resting on the back, huffed out a small laugh, trying to lighten the mood.

Kaminari: "You know, when we walked in there, I really thought we had a shot. I mean, all of us together? That's gotta count for something, right?" He grinned, though it was a little forced. "Turns out, nope. Didn't even get to use my full charge before I was eating concrete."
