Gianna's Point Of View

The smell of cooked bacon flooded my nose, causing my eyes to flutter open. I sat up and looked around my small bedroom. Flashbacks from every position Eden had me in until the sun rose instantly replayed in my mind on a continuous loop.

Pans clanking against each other echoed throughout the apartment before Eden emerged into my room with a large tray filled with two big cinnamon rolls, a plate of bacon, and fluffy eggs. My mouth nearly watered from the sight of the food and my beautiful girlfriend.

She was dressed in one of my oversized sweaters with her auburn-colored hair pulled back in one of my clips. Seeing her so comfortable and cozy in my clothes made my heart swell.

She flashed me a bright smile, her eyes sparkling with warmth. "Good morning, love," she said, placing the tray on the bedside table. "I thought you'd appreciate some breakfast in bed after last night."

I couldn't help but grin, feeling the blood rush to my cheeks. "You're amazing," I replied, reaching out to pull her into a hug. Her laughter filled the room, a sound I always yearn for.

Eden kissed my lips softly before pulling away, "I used your recipe," she said, handing me a plate. The cinnamon rolls looked incredibly tempting, drizzled with a generous amount of icing.

I took a bite of the cinnamon roll, savoring the sweet, gooey goodness. "You nailed it," I said, my mouth full. Eden's eyes sparkled with pride as she watched me devour the breakfast she had lovingly prepared.

She sat down beside me, her hand resting on my thigh. "I'm sorry for making you feel like you weren't worth my time."

My dark eyes instantly met hers, which held deep emotion behind them. I swallowed the bite of cinnamon roll and took her hand in mine. "Eden, you don't have to apologize. I know you've been busy, and I never doubted how much you care about me," I told her, looking between her big brown eyes.

"I'm sorry for acting like that yesterday," I added, my voice barely above a whisper.

I didn't consider that she has multiple businesses and workers she needs to take care of. Even though I want to, I can't always be her first priority.

"I understand why you did that. Just talk to me next time," she said, wiping my lip.

"I will, I'm sorry," I admitted, poking around the cinnamon roll.

"It's okay, baby, really," she said, kissing my lips. Now eat so I can put both sets of sheets in the washer," she smirked, referring to how she had to change the sheets twice between last night and before the sun rose.

"Oh shut up," I said, faking shoving her.

"I just love finding out new things about my girlfriend," she shrugged as she walked over to the sheets on my floor.

I laughed, feeling warmth in my chest at the playful banter. "You're enjoying this, aren't you?" I teased, watching as she began to gather up the sheets.

Eden looked over her shoulder, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Maybe just a little," she admitted, a sly smile spreading across her face.
I chuckled, shaking my head in amusement.

"You're something else, Eden," I said, smiling at her.

She winked at me, tossing the sheets into the hamper. "Hey, someone's got to keep things interesting around here," she said, returning to the bed.
