Since Jacqueline had awoken, she heard many Narnians talking about the return of the Kings and Queens of old.

Apparently there was a legend that said when Queen Susan's horn was blown at a time of great need, the Kings and Queens would return. It seemed true enough to her. She'd been woken when the horn was blown, if it could do that, why would it not bring back the Pevensies?

A group of Narnians was going to head out and find the person who blew the horn. Jacqueline didn't want to go too far from the how where there were resources if her water broke so she stayed behind.

Genevieve did not want to be cooped up in the How with her mother while others got to go out and have fun (at least in her mind it was fun). She decided to follow behind some of the centaurs as they were leaving so no one could see her go.

Unfortunately for her, Glenstorm spotted her sneaking out. "Princess, where do you think you're going? Does your mother know you're coming with us?"

"She's so boring! Can't I come with you? Please?" She begged.

The tall centaur sighed. "At least let me tell your mother that you're with me and that you're safe. We don't want to stress her out or scare her when she can't find you."

"Fine," the little girl huffed.

Glenstorm told the others to wait since he had something he needed to do before they left.

They found Jacqueline sitting in the room that they'd given her and her daughter, reading a book she'd had in her chest.

"Your Majesty," Glenstorm said alerting her to their presence.

"Oh, hello Glenstorm. What can I do for you?" She replied, putting down her book.

"Your daughter and I came to ask you if she could come with us to find whoever blew the horn and hopefully find your family as well."

Jacqueline saw the pleading look on her daughter's face and smiled. "Sure, so long as you stay with Glenstorm or Tallheart or another Narnian you trust."

Genevieve clapped happily and ran up to give her mother a quick hug. "Thank you mummy!"

"Of course my darling girl," Jacqueline said as she kissed her daughter's head. "Be safe okay? I love you."

"I love you too mummy!" Genevieve said as she rushed out of the room. Her mother and Glenstorm chuckled at the little girl's excitement.

"She tried to sneak out with you, didn't she?" Her mother commented.

"Indeed she did," the centaur replied with a fond smile.

"Take good care of her for me."

"I will, your majesty." He left and Jacqueline picked her book back up and continued reading.
