If you have not read A Traitor's Tale first, please do so otherwise the next page (and the next paragraph, whoops...) will contain spoilers (since it's the cast/character list)

(The sole purpose of the following gifs is to hide the spoilers in the rest of this introduction so that anyone who hasn't read the first book but wants to can do that without it being spoiled)

Hello and welcome to my second book! As mentioned in the description, this book will follow the other four Pevensie children, Jacqueline and Edmund's kids.

The point of this book is to sort of fill in some of the gaps where you don't know what the kids are doing like when Edmund and Jacqueline are in England and their kids are in Narnia.

This book is going to start shortly after Genevieve was born and it will be published in a chronological order so you don't have to worry about getting confused.

The cover was created using Pinterest Shuffles by me. I'm also in the process of making some shuffles of the kids aesthetics including their powers (which will be revealed later — Gen's was mentioned in the first book but I'm gonna elaborate on it in this one and we'll see what powers (if any... they might be like Ed) the other children develop)

I'm excited because I have an idea and I think it's pretty cool but you'll have to let me know what you think of their characters as the story progresses.

A little hint is that one (or more) of the kids is based on a different character the actor(s) played in other shows/movies. Another is based on a character from the Rick Riordan book series Heroes of Olympus, but I won't tell you which one (no it's not Percy) so as those characters appear more, be on the lookout for those little details (if you want, it's fine if you just read the book to read it and don't care where their inspiration came from)

All the children's face claims are on the cover (as well as the cast section in the next part)

There's some strong language so be aware, as well as some slightly more mature jokes/comments.

I'm going to be going in and adding where each story falls into the original, probably at the end in an author's note

Through this whole experience of writing this book and my first one I have been having so much fun, and I recently found a quote that is just wonderful and I don't know who else needs to hear it but here it is:

"If there's a book you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it."
~ Toni Morrison

So do like what that quote says, and like I did, and if there's a story you desperately want to read and you can't seem to find it anywhere, then you try writing it, and who knows, maybe you'll discover you love writing and continue it, or maybe you won't, but you'll never know if you don't try

Have a wonderful day, and I hope you enjoy reading this story as much as I've enjoyed writing it 😊

Feel free to leave questions or comments about anything you read in the comments and I'd be happy to answer them (if it doesn't give away a spoiler for later on that is)

My only request is that you remain kind to each other in the comments (even if they said something you don't agree with) because everyone is entitled to their own opinion and interpretation of my work.

Like any art form (which technically yes literature is a form of art), once it's put out into the world, it no longer belongs to just the artist or author. Meaning there is no correct interpretation, and though maybe the interpretation isn't what the artist or author intended, since everyone sees the word differently, it's not incorrect. Art is what you make of it

"Art is not what you see, it's what you make others see." ~ Edgar Degas

That quote can apply to any form of art. Musicians make the music that others hear. Authors write the stories that others read.

If you haven't figured it out already, I was (and still am) an art kid. Also an English nerd.

I was never in sports, unless you count less than a year of gymnastics and a few years of ballet. My guess is that if you're reading this right now, you probably weren't a sports kid either. So welcome to the club! We've got books! 📚

Books and art are my escape from reality. In books I can be the heroine everyone loves. With paint and a pencil I can make something that previously only existed in my head. When I'm painting or drawing or coloring I like to just zone out, and sometimes I find myself doing it while writing too, except it's usually when I've just had a good idea and I'm feeling the story as I write it.

I guess that whole thing sums up to be: enjoy what you do and your mind will do the rest, if that makes any sense.

This is turning into a really long intro but I just want to make sure someone sees it because no one has really been interacting with this book and there are parts that I feel are honestly better than the first book.

If you have any suggestions for things I could include in this book please let me know 😃

And comment if you see any continuity errors (I've been going back and adding things and I may have missed a few things that would contradict something earlier or later in the book)
