Jacqueline's POV

Lucy, Genevieve and I all waved our family off as they set out for the night raid on the Telmarine castle. Lucy and I still thought it was a bad idea, but there was no talking Peter out of it once his mind was set.

I still wasn't very happy with him about the hurtful things he said. I didn't acknowledge him when I was saying goodbye to the others.

Quivermist had told her husband about the baby and made him promise to come back to her. She even made Glenstorm promise to bring him home to her. Tallheart had a new reason to stay alive.

I turned and hugged my husband after I made sure the straps on his armor were tight enough. "I love you," I told him. "Please be safe out there, I don't want our babies growing up without a father." I pulled him in for a quick kiss and he was off.

"Bye bye boys!" Lucy shouted out to the troops.

"Have fun storming the castle!" I called out to the Narnians as they left.

"You think it'll work?" Lucy mumbled loud enough for her brother to hear joking with me.

"It would take a miracle," I laughed. The men nearby that heard the two of us shook their heads in amusement.

"I really wish they weren't doing this," Lulu commented, being serious this time instead of joking. "I still think we should've waited for Aslan, or gone to find him or something besides just running headfirst into something we might not make it out of."

"Lulu, you know I'd be happy to go with you if it weren't for these guys," I said gesturing to my stomach that was about to pop at any moment.

"I appreciate it Jackie, I just wish my siblings listened to me and believed me like you do. Edmund's coming around but I think he still sees me as a little kid sometimes."

"Well, I think you are an amazing, strong beautiful woman just like you were back in our Golden Age."

"Yeah! Auntie Lulu, you're so pretty and cool. I want to be just like you and mummy when I grow up."

"See? Who needs anyone else's opinion? We're the only ones that matter," I joked. That seems to brighten her mood up a bit. "Alright Lulu, I think I might go lay down now. Can you take care of Genevieve for me?"

"Of course, cmon Gen, let's go look at the carvings and things in the stone table room. We can act them out together, let's go it'll be fun."

"Yay! I wanna be mummy! Ooh or you could be Mr. Tumnus and I could be you!"

I chuckled as my daughter excitedly ranted about playing pretend. I felt really tired, like more so than usual. That might mean my babies are coming soon. I'd been feeling minor cramps like period cramps off and on this morning. They were starting to come back again, only stronger this time.
