I once believed my purpose and fulfillment in this life were solely tied to music. Everything revolved around music where I am able to find solace or so I thought. Because, it was enough to fill every void in my life not until I met my own serene.

"Ano nasaan ka na ba, Xav? Bilisan mo d'yan at magsisimula na tayo!" may halong inis ang boses ni Bryan.

We have a scheduled gig in his brother's restaurant tonight. Malapit na sana ako kanina pero nabasa ako kanina dahil sa ulan kaya bumili muna ako ng tissue sa alfamart.

"Oo. Malapit na ako, Bri," pagsisinungaling ko. I still have to drive for ten minutes just to get to the restaurant on time. Unfortunately, mahaba ang pila sa counter. Napamura ako. Kung minamalas ka nga naman oh!

My gaze unconsciously stopped on the girl wearing red dress. She was also wearing a facemask and sunglasses contrary to her outfit. Is she trying to hide?

My mind race with thoughts about her but when I realized she's next in line, I hurriedly went to the spot and accidentally bumped into her. Dahil doon ay nahulog ang pinamili niya.

"I'm sorry, miss. Pero pwedeng ako na lang muna mauna nagmamada-"

"No," she cut me off. Her eyes was hidden behind her sunglasses but I know she's glaring at me. Naiinis niya akong tinulak papunta sa likod niya pero hindi ako nagpatalo at bumalik ulit sa harap niya. I really need to go right now, or else magagalit sa akin si Bryan.

"What the hell is your problem?!" she shouted at me. But, I was in hurry I don't have time to argue with her.

"Mas importante 'to, miss. Pagbigyan mo na'ko please. Babawi ako sa susunod pag nagkita ulit tayo, promise!" sabi ko at mabilis nilagay sa counter ang binili. Pagkatapos ay kumaripas ako ng takbo palabas.

Nagmamadali akong nag drive papunta sa resto kung nasaan sila Bryan. Fortunately, I was just five minutes late and we were able to perform.

"Salamat mga bro," ani ng kapatid ni Bry na si Kuya Christian.

Tumango lang ako sa kanya at nagpaalam muna sa kabanda ko para magpahangin. I stopped walking when I saw a figure of a woman dressed in red. I automatically remembered the woman I met earlier.

Hindi ko alam kung gusto talaga ng tadhanang makabawi ako sa kanya pero kinuha ko ang oportunidad na 'yon para makilala siya. Maybe this is the time I'm waiting for para makabawi sa ginawa ko kanina.

Just when I was about to talk to her, I saw a man dragged her on the balcony.  Nakaramdam ako ng inis at pinagmasdan silang dalawa. I even though he was her boyfriend not until I realized they were arguing about something.

Alam kong masama ang makinig sa usapan ng iba pero hindi ko mapigilan ang kuryosidad ko. Mabilis akong tumakbo palapit sa pwesto nila nang makitang tinaas ng lalaki ang kamay niya para sampalin ang babae kanina.

Mabilis pa sa alas kwatro na hinuli ko ang braso ng lalaki para pigilan ito. How dare he hurt a woman? Shocked was written on the woman's face when she turned around and saw me.

I winked at her. "Told you, babawi ako pag nagkita tayo ulit."

She was so mad at me, kahit tinulungan ko siya sa mga oras na 'yon ay nagawa niya pa rin akong talikuran. I even met her again outside but she's cold. Ang hirap kausapin.

"Gago ka, Xav! Hindi mo ba nakikilala 'yong pinopormahan mo?!" singhal sa akin ni Fred nang makaalis ang babae.

I raised my brow at him. "What do you mean? Is she famous?" I asked, nonchalantly.
