Ashwin's peaceful slumber was disrupted by the continuous ringing of his phone. He groggily reached for it, cutting the call without checking who it was. He snuggled back into sivaangi wrapping his arms around her and closed his eyes.

But the phone rang again. And again. And again.

Sivaangi stirred, her eyes fluttering open. "Ashwin, your phone," she mumbled, her voice husky with sleep.

Ashwin grumbled, not wanting to leave the warmth of their embrace. " Ignore it, it's not important."

But the caller persisted, and Sivaangi sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Ashwin, maybe you should answer it. It might be important."

Ashwin hesitated, then reluctantly reached for his phone. He checked the screen, his expression morphed into confusion seeing the unknown number. "I'll attend to it later," he said, trying to reassure Sivaangi.

But Sivaangi's instincts told her otherwise. "No, Ashwin, please answer it. It might be something urgent."

Ashwin sighed, knowing Sivaangi wouldn't let up. He answered the call, his voice low and cautious. "Hello?"

There was a utter silence on the other side and then person spoke.

"Hello ashwin!" The voice spoke with a menace.

Ashwin's grip on the phone tightened, his eyes narrowing. "Who is this?" he demanded, his voice firm.

The male voice chuckled, the sound sending a shiver down Ashwin's spine. "You don't remember me, Ashwin? I'm disappointed."

Ashwin's mind raced, trying to place the voice. But it remained elusive.

"Tell me who you are," Ashwin growled, his patience wearing thin.

The voice laughed again. "Oh, Ashwin. You'll find out soon enough. Just know that I'm back, and I'll make sure your life is hell."

The voice spoke again, its tone dripping with malice. "And, Ashwin, don't think for a second that your precious Sivaangi is safe. I know all about her. I know how much you care for her. And I'll make sure she suffers too."

Ashwin's grip on the phone tightened, his heart racing with fear as he looked at the girl infront of him. "Who is this?" he demanded again, trying to keep his voice steady.

The voice laughed once more. "You'll find out soon enough. But for now, just remember, I'm always watching. And I'll strike when you least expect it."

With that, the line went dead. Ashwin was left holding his phone, his mind reeling with fear and uncertainty. He looked over at Sivaangi, who was watching him with concern. She moved closer to ashwin and sat by folding her legs under her thigh.

"Who was it?" she asked, her voice soft.

Ashwin forced a smile, trying to reassure Sivaangi. "It's nothing, just a wrong number," he said, trying to downplay the situation.

But Sivaangi's instincts told her otherwise. She could see the fear and uncertainty in Ashwin's eyes. "No, Ashwin, tell me who it was," she persisted, her voice soft but firm.

Ashwin hesitated, not wanting to worry her. He didn't want to tell her about the threats against her. He wanted to protect her from all that.

"Really, Sivaangi, it's nothing," he said, trying to convince her. "Let's just forget about it and go back to sleep."

But Sivaangi wasn't convinced. She moved closer to Ashwin, her eyes locked onto his and she took his hand in hers. "Ashwin, I know something's wrong. Please tell me," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
