Sivaangi was searching frantically, her eyes scanning every surface, every corner of the room. Monisha noticed her distress.
Sivaangi's eyes welled up with tears. "I can't find it," she said, her voice shaking. "I need it."
Monisha's eyes scanned the room, trying to understand what Sivaangi was looking for. And then, she saw it - a piece of paper on the bookshelf, barely visible. She walked over and picked it up, recognizing the paper. "Is this what you're looking for?" she asked, holding out the paper.
Sivaangi's eyes widened as she saw the paper, her heart racing with excitement. "Yes," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "That's it."
Monisha handed her the paper, and Sivaangi's hands trembled as she took it. It was Ashwin's mobile number, written in his own handwriting. She had been searching for it everywhere, and finally, she had it.
Sivaangi's hands are trembling as she holds the phone, her heart racing with anticipation. She takes a deep breath, her eyes closed, hoping that Ashwin will answer. The phone rings, and with each passing moment, her anxiety grows.
Sivaangi's face fell as the phone rang and rang, only to go to voicemail.
Despite her mind telling her not to, her heart is longing to connect with Ashwin, and she's using the excuse of sharing her job news as a way to reach out to him.
She had hoped he would answer immediately. She tried again, thinking maybe he was just busy, but again, no answer.
She couldn't help but feel a twinge of disappointment. Had he seen her number and deliberately avoided her call? Or was he truly busy and hadn't had a chance to answer? Sivaangi tried to shake off the doubts and told herself she would try again later. But for now, she was left with a nagging sense of uncertainty.
Sivaangi tried calling Ashwin several times, but he never answered. She left voicemails and sent texts, but they went unanswered. She couldn't understand why he was ignoring her.
She tried to shake off the feeling, telling herself he must be busy or going through a tough time. But the silence between them grew thicker, like a wall that seemed impossible to scale.
Sivaangi's mind raced with thoughts of what she could have done differently. She replayed their last conversation in her head,
"I was so stupid, i couldn't have hurted him with my words." she thought to herself, her eyes welling up with tears.
Regret washed over her like a wave, threatening to pull her under. She felt like she had made a mistake. And now, Ashwin was gone, silent and unresponsive.
Sivaangi's heart ached with longing and regret. She wished she could go back in time, erase their last conversation and start anew. But life didn't work that way, and all she could do was sit with her sorrow, wondering what could have been.
After that She , Monisha and akash left to their house. But they failed to notice the same person following them.
_______
Sivaangi stepped out of the bathroom, feeling refreshed after a long shower. She wrapped herself in a towel and began to dry her hair, her mind wandering to the news she had received earlier that day - she had finally landed her dream job!
As she gazed at her reflection in the mirror, her mind suddenly asked her to call Ashwin. Again. For what felt like the hundredth time that day.
"Just one call," her mind whispered. "Just to share your news with him."
Sivaangi hesitated for a moment, because she knows that she is using this as a excuse to speak with him, her hand reaching for her phone before hesitating. Should she do it?
And then, her heart won out. She picked up the phone and dialed Ashwin's number, her heart racing with anticipation , she held the phone to her ear, her heart racing with anticipation.
She had tried calling Ashwin so many times, and finally, he had answered. But instead of the warm, friendly voice she was expecting, she was met with a harsh, angry tone.
"What do you want, Sivaangi?" Ashwin shouted, his voice like a slap in the face. "Can't you see I'm busy? Stop calling me constantly!"
Sivaangi's eyes widened in shock, her mind reeling from the sudden outburst. She felt like she had been punched in the gut, her breath knocked out of her.
"I-I'm sorry, Ashwin," she stuttered, her voice barely above a whisper. "I just wanted to share my news with you..."
But Ashwin didn't let her finish. He continued to yell at her, his words cutting deep into her soul. Sivaangi felt like she was being attacked, like she was the enemy. Everything happened in a snap of moment.
As the call ended, Sivaangi's tears spilled over, streaming down her face like a river. She felt like she had been betrayed, like Ashwin had turned on her. She couldn't understand why he was so angry, why he had lashed out at her like that.
