As they drove to the location, the tension in the car was palpable. Vikram's eyes were fixed on the road ahead, his jaw clenched in determination. Sivaangi's eyes, on the other hand, kept drifting back to Ashwin, who was sitting in the back seat with Shreya.
Ashwin, too, couldn't help but steal glances at Sivaangi, their eyes meeting in the rearview mirror. But when Shreya, who was sitting beside him, suddenly moved closer and leaned on his shoulder, Ashwin's gaze faltered.
Sivaangi's eyes flashed with hurt, and she quickly looked away, her gaze fixed on the passing scenery outside the window. Ashwin's eyes lingered on her for a moment, before he turned his attention to Shreya, who was now resting her head on his shoulder.
Vikram's eyes flicked to the rearview mirror, his expression unreadable. But Sivaangi's eyes remained fixed on the window, her shoulders stiff with tension.
The silence in the car grew thicker, the only sound the hum of the engine and the soft rustle of Shreya's breathing as she leaned against Ashwin. The air was heavy with unspoken emotions, and the tension between Ashwin and Sivaangi was almost palpable.
After some time, they reached the location and they stepped out of the car, the group was met with an eerie atmosphere.
The building loomed before them, its towering structure casting long shadows in the fading light. The building was half way through its construction.
Vikram led the way, his hand instinctively reaching for Shreya's as they walked towards the entrance. Shreya's eyes fixed on the building with a mix of fear and determination.
Sivaangi followed closely behind, her eyes fixed on the ground as she walked. Ashwin trailed behind her, his eyes fixed on her back.
As they reached the entrance, Ashwin quickened his pace, his hand reaching out to Sivaangi's.
He whispered a soft "Sorry, and I won't let happen anything to them." as his hand enveloped hers, but Sivaangi's response was immediate. She pulled her hand free, her eyes flashing with a mix of anger and hurt.
The group fell silent as they entered the building, the only sound the soft creaking of the elevator as they made their way to the third floor. The air grew thick with tension, the darkness seeming to press in around them.
As the doors slid open on the third floor, a musty smell wafted out, mingling with the scent of decay.
The group stepped out into the darkness, their eyes straining to adjust to the lack of light.
Ashwin walked, his eyes fixed on the back of sivaangi head, his heart heavy with regret. Vikram's grip on Shreya's hand tightened, his eyes scanning the darkness for any sign of movement. Sivaangi walked ahead, her footsteps echoing off the walls.
Then they moved closer the group was met with a chilling sight. Ashwin's father, Mr. Kumar, stood before them, a sinister grin spreading across his face.
The group was quickly surrounded by a swarm of goons, their burly arms closing in like a vice.
Sivaangi and Shreya were dragged away, struggling and kicking, as they were tied up in chairs. Vikram and Ashwin tried to fight back, but stopped.
When they see a men behind akash and Monisha, their hand holding a knife moved closer to their neck. Akash eyes were wide with fear, his body trembling with terror. While, Monisha was in unconscious state.
Sivaangi and Shreya shrieked in unison, their voices echoing off the walls as they struggled against their restraints.
Vikram and Ashwin froze, their eyes fixed on the knife, their minds racing with horror.
