___
Sivaangi's eyes welled up with tears as she thought about the parcel that had arrived at her doorstep yesterday.
Flashback : ( The next morning , Ashwin left from her house )
Sivaangi's eyes filled with excitement as she picked up the parcel from her doorstep. She had been calling ashwin since the evening , so she thought this must be him to convince her.
But as she opened the package, her excitement turned to horror. A metallic smell, like blood, wafted out, making her stomach churn.
She yelled, dropping the parcel, as Monisha came running into the room. "Sivaangi, what's wrong?" Monisha asked, concern etched on her face.
Sivaangi pointed to the parcel, her eyes wide with fear. Monisha cautiously approached it and opened it, revealing a series of photographs inside. Sivaangi's heart sank as she saw the snaps of her and Ashwin, with a red cross marked over their faces.
A note was attached to the photos, with a message scrawled in red ink: "If don't stay away from him. You would be the next one to disappear."
Monisha's eyes widened in shock as she looked at Sivaangi. "What does this mean?" she whispered.
Sivaangi shook her head, feeling a chill run down her spine. "I don't know," she whispered back, "but I think we should call Ashwin."
As they stood there, frozen in fear, Sivaangi couldn't shake off the feeling that they were being watched, that someone was waiting for them to make their next move.
~~End of flashback~~
Present :
When sivaangi finished telling him that, Ashwin's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with thoughts of revenge. He knew exactly who was behind the sinister game and the threatening message. Vikram, his arch-nemesis, had finally crossed the line.
But as he looked at Sivaangi, his anger gave way to concern. She was shaking, her eyes wide with fear. He knew he had to prioritize her safety above his desire for revenge.
"I don't know who could have sent it," sivaangi said breaking his thoughts, her voice barely above a whisper. "The note didn't mention any name, but...but it felt so scary."
Ashwin's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with possibilities. He knew that Vikram was capable of such tactics, but he couldn't reveal that to Sivaangi just yet. She wasn't ready to know the truth.
"Don't worry, Sweetheart," Ashwin said, trying to reassure her. "I'll figure out who sent it and put a stop to it. You're safe now."
Sivaangi's words poured out like a torrent, a mix of anguish, frustration, and longing. Her voice cracked, and her eyes welled up with tears as she spoke. Her hands shook, and her entire body trembled with emotion.
"Why did you do that?" she repeated, her voice barely above a whisper. "Did I mean so little to you that you could just disappear without a word?"
Her eyes searched Ashwin's face, pleading for answers, for reassurance that she still mattered to him.
"Don't you want me anymore?" she asked, her voice heavy with sorrow. The question hung in the air, a heart-wrenching whisper that seemed to echo through the silence.
Sivaangi's body swayed slightly, as if the weight of her emotions was too much to bear.
Her face contorted in a mixture of sadness and desperation, her eyes locked onto Ashwin's, begging for him to reach out, to comfort her, to tell her that everything would be alright.
