PART 46: IS HE REALLY OKAY?

It was the next morning in the Wind Estate.

The weather was cool and the rain had finally stopped, the fresh golden sunlight entering the room, shining on Giyuu's face.

Sanemi was already awake, laying down next to Giyuu. He watched Giyuu's peaceful face as he slept. There was a soft smile playing on his lips as he had his arm wrapped around Giyuu.

Giyuu shifted to his side, his eyes opening slowly.

Sanemi's eyes locked onto Giyuu's, the soft smile still on his face. He reached out with his free hand, gently brushing a strand of hair out of Giyuu's face.

"Morning... Did you sleep well?"

Giyuu smiled, nodding gently.
"I slept well."

Sanemi's eyes sparkled at the words.
He smiled back at Giyuu, moving strands of hair from his face before he leaned in to press a gentle kiss on his lips. He soon broke the kiss, pulling back with a smirk.

Giyuu's eyes widened at the sudden kiss, his heart racing.

Sanemi chuckled, his smirk growing wider at Giyuu's reaction.
"Sorry, I couldn't resist. You looked so sweet sleeping next to me."

He brushed his thumb over Giyuu's cheek, his gaze intense as he looked at him.
"I like seeing you like that, all relaxed and trusting around me. It's..."
He took a deep breath in.

"...Nice. I never expected we could grow this close, and it just makes me happy. Happy because you are with me, here. And..."
He sighed, looking away for a moment before meeting Giyuu's eyes again.

"...And if you have anything to say to me, please don't hide it. I'm yours, you're mine... you get it, right? There's nothing to hide from!"
He smiled warmly.

Giyuu's eyes widened.

If only I could tell you how concerned I am for you, Sanemi... You'll be mad at me if I bring this topic out... But you're not taking good care of yourself and I don't want to see you in such a poor condition...

He sighed softly.

If only I could really... Tell you how worried I am for you. And it makes me want to blame myself...

"Giyuu? You're so lost, everything okay?"
Sanemi asked, his hand reaching out to ruffle Giyuu's hair.

Giyuu snapped back to reality, his eyes meeting Sanemi's.
"Y-Yeah... It's alright."

Sanemi sighed with annoyance.
"Is it really difficult to tell me? I already told you it's completely fine, just tell me what's on your mind..."

Giyuu's eyes widened, he looked down at his hands, unsure if he should really talk to Sanemi about the matter.

"A-Are you sure I could tell you everything?"
He asked.

Sanemi's expression turned serious, his gaze burning with intensity.

"Absolutely. I want to know everything about you. I want to be the one you turn to when you need someone to talk to."

He reached out, his fingers brushing against Giyuu's.

Giyuu smiled warmly, sitting up.
"W-Well then... I just wanted to say that I... I feel like you're..."

His eyes widened, he shook his head almost immediately.
"N-Nevermind..."

Sanemi gave him a curious look at the sudden hesitation.
"No, go on. Say what you just started to say."

He leaned in closer, his eyes never leaving Giyuu's.
"I want to hear it. All of it."
