Sanemi and Giyuu were on terrible terms, all while Tengen was out on a mission.
He had finally returned now, and looked all clueless and calm.
The weather's nice...
He thought to himself, walking through the forest. That's when he saw Obanai, Mitsuri and Shinobu there.
"...We don't even know when Uzui-San would be back..."
Shinobu said, not noticing Tengen behind. Both Mitsuri and Obanai nodded thoughtfully, not even bothering to turn around... to see their topic of discussion, Tengen.
Tengen's brow furrowed slightly as he took a few quiet steps forward, closing the distance between them.
"What's up guys?"
He finally decided to call out, a slight look suspicion on his face.
"Talkin' about me?"
Shinobu was left speechless as she turned around, she swallowed hard, fearing that Tengen heard them and was disheartened at their secret talk.
Mitsuri followed Shinobu's gaze, turning around slowly. She jumped, squeaking in surprise as she saw Tengen standing right behind them.
"U-Uzui-San..."
She stuttered, unable to believe her eyes.
Obanai's immediately turned around, his heart hammering in his chest.
His blood vessels felt like they'd burst at the sight of Tengen alone.
"You..."
His voice trembled as he stepped closer to Tengen.
"You FUCKER!"
He stammered, almost pouncing at Tengen at once.
"Why THE FUCK!?"
He shouted, grabbing Tengen's arms.
Shinobu and Mitsuri gasped softly at the sudden outburst.
"Why did you have to ruin everything that was going perfectly!?? What the fuck is wrong with you!?"
Obanai snapped, his hand coming up to punch Tengen.
"Iguro-San, wait!"
Mitsuri grabbed Obanai's arm, holding him back. Obanai tried to break free, but her grip was way too tight.
Shinobu quickly stepped in front of Tengen, blocking Obanai from causing any harm to him.
"Iguro-San, calm down!"
She commanded firmly.
"He's back now, no need to get so worked up!"
She added, her eyes darting between Obanai and Tengen.
"E-Exactly! Let's not fight, okay? Uzui-San just got back and we should hear him out."
Mitsuri pleaded, looking at Obanai with concern.
Tengen was taken aback by Obanai's sudden anger. He squinted at him, a confused expression on his face.
"The heck are you talking about, Iguro? What did I ruin? What was perfect?"
He asked, squinting at him.
He watched as Mitsuri and Shinobu stopped him.
"How unflashy, I thought I'd be welcomed..."
He fixed his hair.
Obanai's shoulders heaved as he tried to calm down, his face still red with anger. He glared at Tengen, who just shrugged helplessly.
"Look at this ungrateful piece of shit!" He aggressively pointed his finger out at Tengen.
Tengen's eyes widened slightly at Obanai's outburst. He raised an eyebrow, a smirk slowly forming on his lips.
"Ungrateful? Me? Oh, you wound me, Iguro."
He placed a hand over his heart dramatically.
"I thought we had something special."
Tengen's smirk infuriated Obanai further, his face reddening with anger.
"Oh, we do have something special, alright! I'll show you how special it is when I break your face!!"
He shouted out.
