Sanemi went to take a bath while Giyuu waited. He looked around the mansion, it was quite spacious.

As he explored all the rooms, he walked to Sanemi's, where he saw a big window. He stepped closer, resting his hands on the window frame and looking at the beautiful scenery outside.
The sky was bright blue, the leaves of trees a bright green as well.
He took a deep breath in.

Sanemi walked out, and went to his room.

"Tomioka?"
He looked at the shorter male who was just standing near the window.

Giyuu looked back at Sanemi.
He was wearing a Yukata.

"Ah... you're back."
Giyuu smiled, looking at Sanemi's clothing.

"Where did you get that?"
He asked.

Sanemi rubbed the back of his neck.
"The old lady gave it to me, and, this one's for you..."
He handed Giyuu the other one.

Giyuu looked at it, and then looked at Sanemi.
"Thanks."
He smiled as he walked past Sanemi.

Sanemi turned back and opened his mouth, as if to say something, but he closed it, keeping quiet.

As Giyuu walked away, he sat on his bed.

I'm kinda hungry...
He thought. He stared at his own hands, quietly.

After a few minutes, Giyuu walked out with a towel resting on his shoulder.
His dark wet hair, still dripping water.

He looked at Sanemi from a distance, he was staring at his own hands without any expression and movement.
Out of curiosity, he walked into his room.

"Shinazugawa-San...?"
He tilted his head.

Sanemi snapped out of his reveries, looking at Giyuu who was just standing there.

"Are you okay?"
Giyuu asked.

"Of course I am..."
Sanemi replied, his gaze shifting to Giyuu's wet hair.

"You were just sitting there without any movement... So I-"
Giyuu was interrupted.

"Do you not know how to dry yourself?"
Sanemi asked, his eyes meeting Giyuu's again.

"Huh?"
Giyuu looked puzzled, tilting his head to the side with innocence.

"Tch! You don't know anything, do you?"
He gestured Giyuu to sit on the bed, a little annoyed.

Sanemi grabbed the towel off of Giyuu's shoulder, rubbing his hair with it gently.
Despite of his angry nature, he handled things with great care.

Giyuu blushed as Sanemi carefully dried his hair out.

"It's still dripping water... if you have this long hair, you should be able to take care of it!"
Sanemi said, irritated by Giyuu's little activities.

"I'm sorry... I will be more careful next time-"
Giyuu was interrupted again.

"You're gonna shut up now."
Sanemi said, his voice filled with mixed emotions of annoyance and concern.

Giyuu kept quiet

"Alright, you're done..."
Sanemi said after about two minutes.

"Thank you-"

"I said you're gonna shut up!"
Sanemi said, blushing hard.

The two heard a faint laugh from the distance. It was Mayumi.

"Grandma?"
Sanemi called out.

She walked inside in a slow pace, still laughing heartily.

"You two sure seem to get along, I hope you always stay together..."
She said, her voice gentle.

The two blushed, looking away.
Sanemi scratched the back of his neck.

"Th-Thank you..."
He said.

"You two must be hungry, come, I've prepared lunch. I've made riceballs and tempura..."
She walked out slowly.

"We'll be there..."
Sanemi said.

"I'm so hungry, you're hungry too, right?"
Sanemi asked but Giyuu didn't reply.

"Oi, I'm asking you something?"
Sanemi looked at Giyuu.

Giyuu looked up at Sanemi, his expression clueless.

"Why aren't you saying anything, idiot?"
Sanemi shook Giyuu's shoulder.

"You told me to shut up..."

Sanemi face-palmed.
"Let's... Let's just go..."

The two walked out of the room, having lunch together.

Back in the headquarters, Shinobu was out in the garden of the Butterfly Mansion with Mitsuri.
The two were looking at the different types of flowers together.

"Kocho-San! These flowers are soooo pretty!!!"
Mitsuri exclaimed.

Shinobu smiled at her, nodding gently and calmly.
"You're right, Kanroji-San..."

Mitsuri grinned widely.
"See! I knew you would agree! They just make my heart so happy!"

Shinobu chuckled softly in response.
Mitsuri chuckled back, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Hehe, I love hearing your laughter, Kocho-San! It's so warm and soothing, just like your tea."
Mitsuri said, smiling softly.

Shinobu blushed.
"Speaking of which, let's go in, we'll have some tea together!"
She offered.

Mitsuri nodded eagerly, a smile spreading across her face.

"Yes, let's do that. I'm sure it'll be lovely!"
She stood up, her skirt fluttering around her thighs.

"The sky does look a bit ominous though..."
She said.

"Is that so...?"
Shinobu looked up at the sky, which was overcast with dark clouds.

Mitsuri's expression turned slightly worried.
"Do you think it'll rain soon, Kocho-San? I don't have an umbrella with me..."
She said.

"You can stay here with me until the rain stops, Kanroji-San!"
Shinobu offered, smiling softly.

A huge smile spread across Mitsuri's face as she looked at Shinobu.

"Thank you, Kocho-San! I... I appreciate that so much!"
She gazed into the shorter Hashira's eyes, a gentle blush creeping up her cheeks.

"Let's go inside then!"
Shinobu smiled, clapping her hands together as the two walked in.

"Let me bring you some nice, hot tea! Which reminds me... I've made mochis too, would you like to have them with your tea, Kanroji-San...?"
Shinobu asked.

Mitsuri gasped softly as her eyes lit up with delight.
"Kyaaa!!!! that's my favourite! You're so nice Kocho-San!!!"
She exclaimed.

Shinobu chuckled softly.
"Don't mention it!"

"I'll be right back..."
She said, walking to the kitchen.

Mitsuri watched as she walked away, her eyes sparkling with admiration.

How amazing... she's so kind.
She thought.

Her attention turned back to the overcast sky, her mind drifting off until she realized that Shinobu was back with the treat.

The two sat down together.

Mitsuri took a mochi and bit into it, her eyes widening with joy at the taste.

"Mmmmm, this is amazing, Kocho-San! You made them perfectly!"
She leaned over and gave Shinobu a gentle, affectionate peck on the cheek.

"Thank you so much!"

Shinobu blushed slightly at the sudden affection.
"Oh my! I'm glad you like them!"

Mitsuri smiled in response.
