Two days passed by like a cool breeze.

It was early morning, Giyuu was out on a walk, the fresh gush of wind hitting his face. He smiled a little, his gaze shifting to the sky.

"The weather is beautiful today..."
His smile faded as he looked at the clouds, which reminded him of Sanemi.

"Yeah, it is..."
Sanemi suddenly appeared beside Giyuu, his expression unreadable as he gazed at the same clouds Giyuu was.

"Um..."
He turned his head to look at Giyuu, as if wanting to say something but then changed his mind.

Giyuu's eyes widened as he looked at Sanemi, but he didn't utter a single word.

"Good morning, Giyuu!"
Sanemi smiled, hoping Giyuu would be happy today.

"Are you feeling better today?"
He asked enthusiastically, his arm reaching out to rest on Giyuu's shoulder.

But Giyuu quickly stepped away, rejecting the gesture of affection. He was quiet, his gaze lingering on Sanemi for a moment before he looked down at his feet again.

Sanemi frowned at his silence, feeling the distance between them like a stab to his heart.
He wanted things to be back to normal, but it seemed impossible at that moment.

"W-What's wrong? Are you still mad...?"

"Sanemi..."
Giyuu stepped closer to him.

"Y-Yeah?"
Sanemi whispered, trying to keep his emotions in check. But his voice betrayed him, breaking ever so slightly.

Giyuu sighed, placing his hand on Sanemi's chest.
"I want you... I want you to stop talking to me..."

Sanemi's eyes widened in shock, the words cutting him deep. He tried to speak, but no sound came out.
He felt like he was drowning, the ocean of his emotions crashing over him.

"W-What do you mean?"
He asked, his voice trembling slightly.

Giyuu swallowed hard.
"L-Let's just... stay away from each other..."

Sanemi was left shocked, pain reflecting from his features.

"Wh-Why are you doing this, Giyuu?"
He asked, unable to believe Giyuu's words.

He closed his eyes to regain his composure, but it was of no use. His voice cracked a little.
"I-I..."

Giyuu sighed softly, stepping away from him.

"I really trusted you..."
He walked away, soon disappearing from the view.

Sanemi stood there, frozen in place, his heart shattered into a million pieces. He watched Giyuu leave, his eyes welling up with tears.
He wanted to run after him, to tell him how much he meant to him, but he couldn't move. He was paralyzed by grief and heartache.

As Giyuu walked away, Sanemi stayed there, slowly running his hand through his hair with frustration. He felt his tears rolling down, his heart beating extremely fast.

He finally fell to his knees, unable to bear the pain in his heart.

"G-Giyuu..."
He muttered the name, his breath hitching in his throat.

He stayed on his knees for a while, his tear drops rolling down his chin. He held his head in his hands, the pain in his heart consuming him.
Minutes passed, and he remained there, lost in his grief. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he stood up, wiping his tears.
"I... I need to make it up to him, s-somehow..."

A few hours passed, Giyuu was in his place. He wondered if Sanemi realised his mistake.

Would he come back to apologise...?
