The two finally reached, after what felt like a whole week.
The sun had come up slowly.
"Damn, it's already this late, or early rather."
Sanemi muttered, rubbing his eyes tiredly.
"We've been out all night..."
He looked at Giyuu, concern etched onto his features as he reached out to gently place a hand on his shoulder.
Giyuu sighed tiredly.
"I think we should rest now..."
"Yeah, you're right. I don't know about you, but I'm fucking exhausted."
Sanemi muttered tiredly, letting out a yawn.
"Let's get some sleep, and we'll deal with whatever bullshit happens tomorrow later..."
He said.
Giyuu looked at Sanemi, a small smile escaping his lips.
"I will look forward to all the missions with you in the future-"
He couldn't complete, as Sanemi's crow flew to them, landing on Sanemi's arm.
"Sorai?"
Sanemi patted the bird's head.
"There's a meeting tomorrow, Sanemi..."
Sorai replied.
"Well then, See you tomorrow, Tomioka."
Sanemi placed his hand on Giyuu's shoulder, squeezing it lightly before letting go.
Giyuu nodded in response, walking back to his estate.
Sanemi walked back too, looking back one last time at Giyuu, he smiled softly without even realising.
"What're you smiling at, Sanemi?"
Sorai flew over his head.
Sanemi snapped back to reality.
"N-Nothing! Goddamnit!"

Giyuu rested in the bathtub, washing away the dirt and sweat off him. He sighed, looking up.
He was really tired.
My head feels a little heavy...
He was up all night afterall. He finally got up, walking to his bed.
He rested on his back, staring at the ceiling.
He slowly closed his eyes, relaxing.

"Tomioka...? Want to go for a walk with me?"
Giyuu looked at Sanemi in surprise.
"I... I would love to."
He replied, smiling softly.
"Let's go then!"
Sanemi smiled, reaching out to hold Giyuu's hand.
"I have a surprise for you, Tomioka!"
He whispered next to Giyuu's ear.
"A surprise...? What is it Shinazugawa-San?"
"I'm not telling you yet..."
Sanemi said teasingly.
"...It's a surprise, afterall!"
Giyuu smiled, his voice still calm. But Sanemi could feel the excitement in him.
"Alright, I'll need you to close your eyes..."
Sanemi covered Giyuu's eyes with both his hands, leading him the way.
"I need to close my eyes...? What is this surprise?"
Giyuu asked, sounding impatient.
Sanemi laughed, slowly planting a soft kiss on Giyuu's cheek. Giyuu couldn't see anything but his face turned red. He could feel the butterflies in his stomach.
"I know a place..."
Sanemi whispered next to Giyuu's ear.
As he slowly led the way, Giyuu couldn't wait, his heart pounding inside his chest.
