Johnnie was home alone. Jake and Tara left for a cruise together with some other friends, and Carrington was heading back home from visiting Chase.

After a long day of socializing, Carrington finally arrived home, unlocking the front door and entering. He sighed and stretched, feeling the tension leave his body as he walked inside. "Finally, I'm home," he muttered to himself, tossing his keys onto the nearby table.

But it was unnervingly quiet. Where could the emo be? Johnnie was inside of his room, carefully climbing himself up onto the roof.

His mental illness has taken its toll, and hardly anyone was home or even noticed the emo's condition since he has been hiding it so well. But now, it is in the extreme point. The hate comments, – the stress of work – everything just piled up and now he is at the point of suicidal.

Carrington walked further into the house, his footsteps echoing through the empty halls. He called out, "Johnnie? Are you home?" There was no response, and he began to grow concerned.

He knew Johnnie wasn't doing well lately, and he feared the worst. He walked up the stairs and approached the emo's bedroom door, gently knocking on it. "Johnnie? Can I come in?"

Once again, no response. But Carrington heard a creaking sound, and rushed downstairs. He flung open the door and walked a few steps back, seeing Johnnie on the roof.

Carrington's heart sank as he saw Johnnie on the roof. He quickly ran outside and called out to him. "Johnnie, what are you doing up there? Get down from there, please!" He was terrified, fearing for the emo's safety.

Johnnie wasn't responding. His eyes are glazed over, just standing on the roof. Not even looking at Carrington.

Carrington's worry grew as Johnnie continued to ignore him. He knew something was very wrong, and he needed to get him down from the roof as soon as possible.

He approached the house carefully, trying to think of a way to get Johnnie's attention. "Johnnie, please listen to me. You need to come down from there. It's not safe. Please, talk to me."

"There's no point," Johnnie spoke up. His footsteps got a bit closer to the edge. He looked down at the drop, but noticed Carrington.

Carrington's eyes widened in horror as Johnnie got closer to the edge. "No, no, no! Don't do this, Johnnie. There is always a point. You're important, you matter. Please, don't do this. We can talk about it, we can get you help. Just please, get away from the edge."

Johnnie felt tears fill his eyes, but he didn't say anything. His feet are poking a bit off the edge, he was that close.

Carrington's heart was racing as he saw Johnnie's feet dangling off the edge. He could see the pain and despair in his friend's eyes, and it broke his heart. He took a deep breath and spoke softly.
