Johnnie is in little space this evening. He is quietly walking down the hallway and towards Carrington's room. He knocks on it, "Carri?" He says in his squeaky voice.

Carrington was on his bed, scrolling through TikTok and replying to comments. He heard the knock and looked up."Come in," he called out, his eyes darting back to his phone.

The door opened, and Johnnie came inside the bedroom. He walked over, chewing on his hand.

Carrington set his phone down on the bedside table, sitting up as Johnnie entered the room. He chuckled at the sight of him chewing on his hand."Hey," he said, patting the spot on the bed next to him. "What's up?"

Johnnie walks over and crawled onto the bed. "Carri!!" He grins childishly and giggles.

Carrington smiles warmly as Johnnie crawls onto the bed and grins at him. He chuckles again, ruffling his hair."You're being a silly little boy, aren't you?" he teased playfully.

"i couldn't go nini, Carri." Johnnie replied, yawning as he rubbed his eyes.

Carrington's expression softened, noticing Johnnie's yawn and tired eyes. He gently took his hand away from his face.
"Aww, why couldn't you go to sleep?" he asked gently, shifting closer to him.

Johnnie shrugged. Looking up at Carrington with big blue eyes as he smiled timidly.

Carrington couldn't help but melt at the sight of Johnnie's big blue eyes and timid smile. He wrapped an arm around him, pulling him close."You look sleepy," he said, gently stroking his hair. "Are you having trouble falling asleep?"

"Uh-huh," Johnnie suddenly got fussy from the lack of sleep and teary eyed. He rubbed his eyes again.

Carrington immediately noticed the change in Johnnie's behavior. He pulled him onto his lap, gently rocking him back and forth.
"Hey, hey, it's okay," he soothed, rubbing his back. "Shh, don't cry, buddy."

Carrington remembered that Johnnie's pacifier was in his room. He looked down at the little in his lap, who was getting more and more fussy.

"Hey, I'll be right back," he said softly, carefully shifting Johnnie off his lap. "I need to go get something, okay?"

"Carri!!" Johnnie cried more as he clings onto his caregiver (CG) as the two walk together.

Carrington winced as Johnnie cried out, holding him tightly as they walked to his room.

"Shh, shh, I know you're tired," he murmured, rubbing his back. "But I promise I'll be right back. We're almost there."

Johnnie cried in the hallway before running off to Carrington's room.

Carrington quickly followed Johnnie as he ran off to his room, worried that he might hurt himself. He entered the room and saw Johnnie standing in the middle of it, tears streaming down his face.

"Johnnie, no!" he said firmly, but gently. "You can't run off like that. You need to stay with me."

Johnnie sniffles as he continues to fuss. He hides himself underneath Carrington's blankets.

Carrington has to go get the pacifier from Johnnie's room.

Carrington sighed as Johnnie hid under the blankets. He knew he had to get the pacifier quickly, but he also didn't want to leave him alone.
