Johnnie is looking at himself in the mirror with disgust, thinking about every little thing he didn't like.

Carrington chuckled as he watched Johnnie, noticing the look on his face. He set the phone down and walked over to him, wrapping his arms around his waist from behind.

"You're making that face again," he teased, resting his chin on Johnnie's shoulder.

"What face?" Johnnie asked as he looked up at Carrington, tilting his head back so he is looking at his boyfriend.

Carrington smirked, his grip on Johnnie's waist tightening slightly."The one where you're being too hard on yourself," he replied, placing a soft kiss on Johnnie's cheek. "You know I don't like it when you do that."

Johnnie didn't reply, he just looked forward at his reflection, he sighed softly. Feeling insecure about himself.

Carrington could sense Johnnie's insecurity, and it tugged at his heart. He knew how much Johnnie struggled with self-doubt, but he was determined to help him feel better.

He gently turned Johnnie around to face him, his hands resting on his hips. "Hey," he said softly, tilting Johnnie's chin up to look at him. "You're perfect just the way you are, you know that, right?"

"No, I'm not." Johnnie replied softly as his head gets tilted up. His blue eyes reflecting insecurity and depression.

Carrington's heart sank as he saw the look in Johnnie's eyes. He gently cupped his face in his hands, his thumbs brushing against his cheeks.

"Yes, you are Johnnie," he insisted, his voice firm but gentle. "You're beautiful, smart, funny, and kind. You're the most amazing person I know. I don't want you to ever feel like you're not good enough."

Johnnie didn't say anything, he didn't believe his boyfriend either. He just pecked Carrington's lips and walked off to the bed.

Carrington watched as Johnnie walked away, a mix of sadness and determination on his face. He followed him to the bed and sat down beside him, taking his hand in his.

"Johnnie, please talk to me," he pleaded, his voice filled with concern. "I hate seeing you like this. I hate that you don't believe me when I tell you how amazing you are."

"Because it's not true," Johnnie let's go of Carrington's hand as he shakes his head.

Carrington frowned, his grip on Johnnie's hand tightening slightly. He refused to let him pull away from him.

"It *is* true," Carrington insisted, his voice firm but gentle. "You just don't see it because you're too hard on yourself. You have flaws, just like everyone else. But those flaws don't define who you are. You're more than just your appearance or your imperfections."

Johnnie didn't say anything. He just pulled away and laid on his side. His back is facing his boyfriend.

Carrington sighed, feeling helpless as he watched Johnnie turn away from him. He knew that this wasn't going to be an easy conversation, but he wasn't going to give up.

He moved closer to Johnnie, wrapping his arms around him from behind and pulling him close. He pressed a gentle kiss to the back of his neck.

"I love you," Carrington whispered, his voice filled with sincerity. "And I'm not going to let you keep putting yourself down like this. You're worth so much more than you realize."
