☆Silent Panic☆

[ Johnnie is having a silent panic attack in front of his friends and Carrington notices ]

Today Carrington, Jake, Johnnie and Tara are hanging out. They were talking and having a good time when suddenly Johnnie felt a sudden emptiness in his chest.

He wasn't sure why, but it was getting worse and worse. He stopped talking and is just zoning out. His heart is racing. His forehead was slicked in sweat as he began to quietly hyperventilate.

Carrington looked at Johnnie and immediately noticed his panicked state. He stopped what he was doing and moved closer to him, placing a hand on his shoulder."Hey, babe, you alright?" he asked quietly, his voice filled with concern.

Jake looked over, noticing something was off with Johnnie but gave the silent look to Carrington to make sure he was alright.

Carrington nodded in response to Jake's silent look. He moved his hand from Johnnie's shoulder to his back, gently rubbing it in an attempt to soothe him.
"Johnnie, look at me," he said softly, trying to get his boyfriend's attention.

Johnnie just hid his face into Carrington's shoulder. Carrington knows that Johnnie didn't want to make a 'big deal' about this to his friends so he silently panicked. This panic attack came out of nowhere and he doesn't know why.

Carrington wrapped his arms around Johnnie, holding him close as he continued to hide his face in his shoulder. He could feel Johnnie's body trembling, and it made his heart ache.

He looked over at Jake and Tara, silently pleading for them to give them some space. He knew Johnnie wouldn't want them to see him like this.

Tara was yapping her ear off when Jake tapped her to get her attention. Tara noticed and noticed Carrington's look. She gave a nod and Jake and her went into another room to chat and hangout.

Carrington was grateful that Tara and Jake understood the situation and gave them some privacy. He turned his attention back to Johnnie, gently stroking his hair as he held him close.

"Shh, it's okay, babe," he whispered. "Just focus on your breathing. You're safe here with me."

Johnnie pulled back as his hands are trembling. "i- I don't know why this is happening- I'm so confused- i was fine!- we were having a good time and-" he panics more.

Carrington gently took Johnnie's trembling hands in his, holding them tightly.

"Hey, hey, it's okay," he said, trying to calm him down. "You don't have to know why this is happening. Sometimes panic attacks just happen without any reason. It's normal."

He gently rubbed his thumbs over the backs of Johnnie's hands, trying to soothe him further.

Johnnie grips at his racing heart. "I can't breathe, Carrington.. I can't -" He continued to hyperventilate.

Carrington's heart sank as he saw Johnnie struggling to breathe. He quickly pulled him into a tight embrace, holding him close.

"Shh, you can breathe, babe," he said, trying to keep his voice calm and steady. "Just take deep breaths with me, okay? In through your nose, out through your mouth."

He took a deep breath himself, demonstrating the breathing pattern for Johnnie to follow.

Johnnie closed his eyes as he started to copy Carrington's breathing. He spoke softly, "i feel so bad.. we we're having a good time.. i ruined it.."
