Johnnie hasn't came out of his room all day. The door is closed, the crack underneath the door is pitch black still. And has been all day.

Johnnie has been oversleeping.

Carrington sighed, putting his phone down and heading over to Johnnie's door. He knocked on it a few times, waiting for a response.

Johnnie heard the door knock. He grunted as he sits up. His emo hair a mess.

Carrington opened the door.

"Hey, sleepyhead. It's already past noon," Carrington said, leaning against the door frame.

Johnnie groaned as he laid back down. Pulling the blanket back over him.

"You can't just stay in bed all day, y'know," Carrington said, amused by his actions.

"Piss off.." Johnnie grumbled, as he kept his back facing Carrington. Trying to go back to sleep. Even though it's nearly 5PM.

"Nope, I'm not pissing off until you get out of bed," Carrington said with a smirk. He walked over to the bed and started to pull the blanket off of Johnnie.

Johnnie huffed. He sits up, his eyes expressing emotional pain and tiredness.

"There we go. That wasn't so hard, was it?" Carrington said, looking down at Johnnie with a smile.

"Very." Johnnie responded as he outstretched his arm, grabbing a shirt from his floor. He slipped it on over his tatted self.

Carrington chuckled, crossing his arms as he watched Johnnie put on the shirt. "You really need to take better care of yourself, y'know? Sleeping in all day isn't healthy."

"I'm not fucking stu- whatever, i know that." Johnnie grumbles in response as he looks up at Carrington with a depressed look.

Carrington frowned, noticing the look on Johnnie's face. He sat down on the bed next to him. "Hey, what's wrong? You're not acting like yourself."

Johnnie sighed, "Just one of those days, you know?" He looked down at his tatted hands, folding them in his lap.

Carrington placed a hand on Johnnie's shoulder, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "I get it. Sometimes you just need a break from the world. But don't forget that you have people who care about you, including me."

"..Right." Johnnie glanced up at Carrington. Venting. "I really don't fuckin' understand why this depression just won't fucking go away, i'm so tired."

Carrington listened attentively as Johnnie vented. He could see the exhaustion in his eyes. "It's tough, I know. Depression can be a difficult thing to deal with. But you're not alone in this, okay? I'm here for you, and I'm not going anywhere."

Johnnie just looked at Carrington with a forced smile. His blue eyes reflecting emotional exhaustion.

Carrington returned the smile, his eyes filled with concern. He knew that Johnnie was putting on a brave face, but he could tell that he was struggling. "You don't have to pretend with me, y'know. It's okay to not be okay."

The smile faded away from Johnnie's face. "I know but I don't want to be a bother with my feelings. It's ridiculous."

Carrington shook his head. "You're not a bother, Johnnie. Your feelings are valid, and they're not ridiculous. Depression is a real thing, and it's something that you can't just ignore. You don't have to deal with it alone. I'm here to listen, and I'm here to help you in any way that I can."

Johnnie lays his head onto Carrington's shoulder. "I'm just so exhausted of living.."

Carrington wraps his arm around Johnnie, pulling him closer. "I know it's hard, but please don't say things like that. You have so much to live for, and so many people who care about you. You're not alone in this fight, I promise."

Johnnie closed his eyes, leaning closer to Carrington's embrace as he sighed heavily.

Carrington held him tightly, rubbing his back soothingly. "You're strong, Johnnie. You've been through so much, and you've come out the other side. You'll get through this too, I have faith in you."

"Thanks, Carrington.." Johnnie replied as he reopened his makeup covered eyes.

Carrington smiled softly. "Anytime, Johnnie. I'm always here for you, no matter what. Just promise me you'll try to take care of yourself, okay? Even if it's just getting out of bed every day."

"I'll try, thanks Carrington." Johnnie responded, a soft smile rising onto his face.

Carrington chuckled, ruffling Johnnie's hair. "That's all I ask. And hey, if you ever need someone to talk to or just a shoulder to cry on, I'm your guy."

Johnnie smiled as a few tears fill into his eyes, he blinked them away, nodding.

Carrington noticed the tears in Johnnie's eyes and pulled him closer. "Hey, it's okay to cry. You don't have to hold it all in. Let it out if you need to."

Johnnie hides his face into Carrington's shoulder as he began to cry. Tears and makeup dampening onto Carrington's shirt.

Carrington didn't mind at all, wrapping both arms around Johnnie and holding him tightly. He gently stroked his hair, offering words of comfort. "Shh, it's okay. I'm here. Let it all out, you're safe with me."

Johnnie hugged onto Carrington tightly, crying into his shoulder.

Carrington continued to hold him, rubbing his back and whispering soothing words. "You're doing great, Johnnie. Just let it all out. I'm not going anywhere, I promise."

After a short while, Johnnie pulled away and wiped his eyes.

Carrington handed him a tissue, giving him a small smile. "Feel a little better now?"

Johnnie nodded, wiping his excess makeup with the tissue.

Carrington watched him with a gentle expression. "Good. You don't have to be tough all the time, you know."

"I know, I know. I just been holding it back, trying to pretend im fine. But it's just been getting tougher." Johnnie wiped his eyes again.

Carrington nodded understandingly. "I get it. It's easier to pretend like everything's okay, even when it's not. But bottling up your emotions like that isn't healthy, Johnnie. It's okay to admit that you're struggling. You don't have to go through this alone."

Johnnie hugged Carrington again. "Thanks, man. I appreciate it... can we take a nap? I'm tired.."

Carrington and Johnnie lay down together. Johnnie sighed as he snuggled up with his roommate.

Carrington wrapped his arms around Johnnie, pulling him close and gently running his fingers through his hair. "Just relax and get some rest. I'll be right here."

Johnnie feels himself relax. Crying it out and venting to Carrington really helped him out. He dozed off.

Carrington smiled as he felt Johnnie fall asleep in his arms. He continued to stroke his hair and hold him close, making sure he was comfortable.

He was glad that he could be there for his roommate,

even if it was just in a small way.
