Johnnie has been giving Carrington the silent treatment all day long. He is in his bed, laying on his side and scrolling on his phone.

Carrington walks in, sighing at the sight of his boyfriend ignoring him. He walked over to the bed and sat on the edge, looking down at him.

“Hey, Johnnie…” He said, reaching out to pat his leg.

Johnnie moved his leg away. Focused on his phone, as he has a sleepy relaxed face.

Carrington frowned, pouting at the fact that Johnnie was ignoring him. He laid down next to him, wrapping his arms around his waist and pulling him close.

“Come on, don’t ignore me…” He said, nuzzling his face into the crook of Johnnie’s neck.

Johnnie sighed, "What you said earlier today upset me." He replied, typing on his phone.

Carrington’s frown deepened as he remembered what he said. He felt guilty for upsetting his boyfriend, but he didn’t think it was that big of a deal.

“Babe, it wasn’t that bad…” He said, trying to play it off.

"To me it was. You joked too far." Johnnie replied, putting his phone down.

Carrington sighed, realizing that he messed up. He pulled Johnnie closer, burying his face in his shoulder.

“I’m sorry, okay? I didn’t mean to upset you. I didn’t think it would bother you that much.” He said, his voice muffled against Johnnie’s shoulder.

"Oh yeah? What was the joke then? That you told during the party last night?" Johnnie rolled his eyes, "Oh that I'm the elephant in the fucking room and i don't belong at the party because of how socially awkward i was, haha, thank you." He sarcastically grumbled.

Carrington winced at the reminder of the joke. He knew he messed up big time.

“I was just trying to make a joke… I didn’t think you’d take it seriously…” He said, looking up at Johnnie. “I’m really sorry, okay? I didn’t mean to make you feel bad. I just thought it was funny.”

Johnnie scoffed. "It still hurt. I was socially anxious that night." He said, grabbing his blanket and pulling it over his head. Venting to Jake by text underneath the covers.

Carrington felt even more guilty as he saw Johnnie pull the blanket over his head. He knew he had messed up badly, and he wanted to make it up to him.

He tried to pull the blanket away from Johnnie’s face. “Please don’t hide from me… I really am sorry. I didn’t know it would upset you that much. I’ll make it up to you, I promise.”

Johnnie sighed, sending a goodnight text to Jake as he clicks his phone off. He sets it on the nightstand. He looks at Carrington. "I was anxious that night, you should've known!"

Carrington nodded, looking guilty. “I know, I should have. I’m sorry for not realizing it sooner. I just thought you were being your usual shy self, I didn’t think it was because you were anxious.”

He reached out to brush a strand of hair away from Johnnie’s face. “Please forgive me…”

"Ugh, fine." Johnnie replied, pecking Carrington's cheek. "But next time don't fuckin' joke like that."

Carrington smiled, relieved that Johnnie had forgiven him. He pulled him into a tight hug, nuzzling his face into his hair.

“I won’t, I promise. I’ll be more considerate next time. I’ll be the perfect boyfriend, just for you.” He said, giving him a playful kiss on the forehead.
