(Eight)

The sun was very dim, yet it was still bright enough to see.

The critters had just finished the day, all heading back to Critter Village to get to their comfortable homes.

Some chatted on the way over, and others were completely silent. Until someone suggested something quite interesting.

"Hey, does everyone want to have a sleepover tonight?" Bobby asked finishing her conversation with Crafty.

"That would awesome!" Said Hoppy.

"Hoppy, it's not it's awesome! It's rad!" Kickin' exclaimed, Hoppy rolled her eyes.

"Oh, sure." Bubba agreed.

"Of course!" Dogday also agreed.

"Oh, yeah! Can I bring snacks?" Picky asked.

"Um...okay." Catnap said.

Crafty and Bobby smiled at each other. Once the group got through the Village door, they stood in a circle to come up with the details.

"Alright, so we're having the sleepover at Dogday's house, and Picky's bringing the snacks. Kickin' and Hoppy are going to bring games and movies. Crafty and I are going to bring art and crafts supplies. Bubba can bring the board games, and Catnap is getting blankets." Bobby confirmed.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Alright see you guys at six!" Dogday called as they separated. Everyone quickly walked to their house to get ready for the sleepover.

—————(A Few Hours Later)—————

Dogday sat on his couch, the sound of up beat music coming from a red radio on the coffee table in front of him.

(His house kinda looks like the one from the cartoons)

It was currently ten minutes to six (5:50), so Dogday was expecting his friends to be here soon.

His tail wagged franticly, his left leg sort of bouncing or tapping on the wood floor below him.

Then a knock came from the front door.

He bolted over to it, opening the door without another thought. Hoppy and Kickin' stood side by side at the door.

"Hey dude!" Kickin' greeted.

Dogday just smiled at the two of them, letting them inside.

After a while of waiting and settling in, almost all of the critters were there. Catnap and Picky were the only critters absent.

Dogday looked over to the clock, it was currently 6:30. Picky had never been late before so this was new, and they didn't know how Catnap was with time management.

They waited for their friends to arrive for another ten minutes, and then someone knocked.

Dogday ran over to the door, opening it as fast as he could. Picky stood there with at least twelve plates of snacks.
