(I spy with my little eye...)
"Hey, Dogday?" Angel suddenly speaks as they carry the dog through the hallways. Dogday held his own legs in his arms as he let himself be carried around.
"Yeah?"
"Do you think we'll survive this horrible place?" The human asked, not daring to look at him.
"Of course! Where's this coming from?" Dogday asked, slightly concerned by the question.
"I'm not sure...I guess that it's just during this whole time I've been in the factory I've been thinking. You know, I was a scientist and I did horrible things that I will forgive myself for."
The dog slightly gasped, that must have explained how the dog had found the human's face familiar.
Then a memory flooded his mind. A memory of the his own organs being taken out of his body, and placed into one of an orange dog.
He had remembered the organs being slightly pulled and stretched. Hating the uncomfortable feeling and pain of losing them, and yet he was still awake.
After the scientists took his heart, everything went black. He couldn't see, but he could still hear.
It went on like for a while, but then everything just stopped. Almost like he had died, but then probably five days later he woke up strapped to a table in a new body.
It wasn't a pleasant experience, and Dogday never wanted anything like that to happen again.
"Dogday?" Angel's voice reached the dog's ears. He immediately looked up at the human, who looked worried and...guilty?
"Yes?"
"I think you zoned out for a bit there, Dogday. Are you okay?" They asked, slightly leaning towards the dog's face to read his expression.
"I-I'm fine." The dog slightly pushed more of his weight down so he could get farther from the human's face.
Dogday had only let one other person get that close. After realizing the dog's discomfort the human immediately backed off.
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have brought that up, it probably wasn't the most loved experience for you either..."
"It's alright, I know you didn't mean to...you know..."
"Bring back bad memories?" Angel said, trying to finish Dogday's sentence.
"Yeah..."

"Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid!" The large toy screamed as he lightly hit himself in the head.
"You're an idiot! You're useless! Why can't you do one thing right?!" He continued to scream, tears racing down his face.
Catnap sat on the ledge of a rocky cliff, staring up at the catwalk that seemed to continue forever.
He didn't want to abandon that little mini, but how could he keep Maraca around after that conversation.
They definitely wouldn't get along, and maybe it was for the better. Maraca could actually choose what to do now.
