Chapter 5 - Mini

Today the fake sun shown brighter than yesterday. The employees must have something fun planned.

Turns out today the children and critters got to visit the Playhouse. On Catnap's tour James had mentioned it but didn't allow him inside.

Now he had a chance to see this place and didn't have to bother about figuring out how he would sneak into it.

He had kept a list of all his favorite places in the factory, so today was the day to put this one to judgement.

The children ran around as usual. They were all at the entrance to the Playhouse.

Each critter had to look after twenty kids today and make sure they stayed out of trouble.

The staff had debated whether this was a good idea or not given that Catnap was new to the area, but they had just decided to let it go.

The critters separated themselves in front of the Playhouse, each critter standing in a different spot.

The employees had thought that it would be a good idea for the children to choose which critter they got to spend the day with.

Most went straight to their favorite critters, others stood around not knowing what to do, and some just went with their friends.

Catnap stood alone for a bit watching children run up happily to the other critters.

He frowned a bit, seeing that he might just get all the left over children. Meaning that the children didn't like him.

Then he felt something touch his tail, he turned around to see Timmy and two other kids behind him. Catnap immediately smiled, greeting Timmy and the other two children.

His mood had rapidly changed from feeling unappreciated to being over the moon with happiness.

One was a boy with pale skin, blue eyes, and brunette hair. The other was a girl, she had dark skin, green eyes, and black hair.

They all seemed to be completely different. Timmy being extremely talkative, the boy being shy, and the girl not seeming to care.

"What are your names?" He asked the two behind Timmy. They were clearly Timmy's friends, and Catnap trusted who Timmy could trust.

"My-" started the boy, but he was cut off.

"My names Penelope." The girl said in a spunky voice.

"Nice to meet you Penelope." Catnap responded. He turned to the boy, trying to not get mad at Penelope for interrupting him.

"Um...I'm Tyler" He said shyly. Every time Carnap and him made eye contact Tyler would quickly look away.

"Nice to meet you Tyler." Catnap replied.

He looked to see that four other kids had joined Catnap's side while he was chatting with the other three.

All of them were girls, in fact they were the girls from the other night. The one who had a nightmare was in the center of the group with her blonde hair, hazel eyes, and porcelain skin.
