(Four)
The sun glowed brightly as always. Catnap and three smaller figures were sitting on the soft grass.
Penelope was playing with some slime that her and some of her other friends had found a few days prior.
Tyler was barely glancing at anyone, he just looked at the grass below him with a nervous expression that seemed to be permanently attached to his face.
Timmy was talking endlessly about his last few days, Catnap giving him his full attention.
"Basically Penelope tried to run through the wall-" Timmy began to explain with his arms on either side of him in a presentation like manner.
"That's not what I was trying to do!" She yelled, interrupting him.
"Then what were you doing?!" He yelled back. The four of them were sitting in a line, Catnap being on the far right side and Penelope being on the far left.
Timmy was placed next to Catnap, while Tyler was put next to Penelope. So, at this very moment the most stressed child in the entire orphanage was in between a very loud argument.
"I was trying to see if there was a door!" Penelope said, taking her eyes off of the slime.
"With your face?!" Timmy argued, crossing his arms. Catnap knew that he should stop this, but his child side was quite interested so he decided to listen for a moment.
"What do you mean with my face?!"
"You ran into the wall! You had a bruise on your stupid forehead after you ran into it! You still have that bruise!"
Penelope gasped, moving her hand to cover a very obvious and very concerning mark on her forehead.
"Did you go to the nurse for that?" Catnap asked cautiously. Penelope just glared at him, her nose scrunching up in an almost disgusted way.
Though Catnap knew it wasn't meant to be hurtful, he had spent enough time with the group to know that they often did stupid stuff like this.
And every time Penelope would scrunch up her nose if someone questioned her or interrupted an argument.
Catnap just sighed, "Did you go to the nurse?" He asked again.
"Yes..." Penelope stubbornly answered, she was now crossing her arms.
"Want to explain why?" Timmy taunted.
"I did not try to run through the wall!"
"Yes you did! Admit it!"
Catnap quickly stood up and traveled the short distance to drag Tyler away from the argument. Mainly because he was now covering his ears and looking the two with pure fear.
Catnap pulled him out of the center of the two, and looked at him asking: "You okay, little star?"
Tyler nodded, though he wouldn't look at the feline or take his hands off of his ears.
The argument between the two continued though, neither of them really seemed to notice the feline's and child's presence anymore.
