(Hehe)

Before any of them could react, Kissy launched at Catnap. Picking him out of Dogday's arms and dropping him harshly on the ground.

Catnap screamed, his chest suddenly feeling like it was getting crushed when Kissy pinned him to the ground.

"Stop!" Angel yelled, trying to pull the pink creature off of the cat. It had little effect.

"What are you talking about? And for heavens sake, why was Dogday holding him?" Poppy said, looking to Angel.

"Let him go." Dogday commanded, glaring at Kissy. Maraca jumped off his shoulder, running over and biting one of her pink legs.

She turned her head to Dogday, then the little red bear gnawing on her leg, before hesitantly stepping away from Catnap.

Catnap immediately got up and pushed himself against the wall, the action seeming uncomfortably familiar at this point.

"He's with us now. The Prototype..." Angel trailed off, swallowing hard.

"Also, he has no idea what's going on. So, in short, he's useless for getting information." Hoppy added.

"Hmm, how unfortunate." The doll hummed.

"Cut him some slack, please." Dogday said, walking over to kneel next to Catnap to check if he was okay.

"He cut you in half!" Hoppy protested, throwing her arms in the air.

"I w-what?" Catnap asked, looking wide-eyed at the canine next to him. Dogday just frowned.

"Listen, we're just trying to get to a safe spot. Frankly, this didn't concern you. So keep walking." Angel said, looking right at Poppy.

"Angel, I want to help!" Poppy smiled, acting innocent.

"You purposefully crashed the train I was on." Angel replays, not amused.

"But I had too! I told you when you were in the safe room!"

"Yeah, while I was fighting for my life because a purple cat wanted to-" Angel stopped mid-sentence, trying not look at Catnap.

The felines eyes were wide and confused. You really don't remember? The words echoed in his head.

Catnap suddenly found it ridiculously difficult to breathe, but tried to ignore it the best he could. Easier said than done.

"Hold up, can we just go back to the part where Miss Playtime over here, crashed a train." Hoppy chimed in, earning a nod from Bomb.

"It was necessary!" Poppy yelled, seeming to be in some sort of tantrum.

"To try to kill me?!" Angel shot back. They argued for a while, one insisting they were right and the other wanting an apology as well as a proper explanation.

"Knock it off!" Dogday yelled, cutting them off. Both Angel and Poppy looked at him in a confused state, almost like they forgot he was there.

"Do not interrupt a conversation between two intelligent individuals, thank you very much." Poppy responded, going back to her princess-like stance.
