Hello so I wanted to put a little 'information sheet' of sorts so please be patient with me. (I will update if necessary)

-About The AU

So this AU is not for Catnap haters. I will be honest my favorite character is Catnap so I might be a little biased. They are working in the factory and everything. There will be an hour of joy and stuff. Also they were made by experimenting on children, also I heard that some people have theories that Dogday wasn't a child, but I just can't believe that so...he's not an adult. I just want to clarify that before the Hour Of Joy the critters were all 8-12, I'm not making a 16 year old like a 6 year old okay 😭.

I think that's it.

-Story

There will be no smut in this. I refuse to write smut so please do not request this. Btw in all of my Poppy Playtime AU's none of the toys even have...private parts. So, if like in a scene they don't have their assigned clothes on them don't think of it like that.

So I am planning to update the story every time I finish a chapter, the latest it will be is every week. That way I can make chapters on my own time, and there won't be big gaps in between chapters. If there is ever a delay I deeply apologize.

I'm not really good at remembering things so I might forget about stuff every so often, if something just suddenly shows up that should have been mentioned before I just want to say that I'm sorry.

Also my writing will probably get better as I write because I'll find more of what I want these characters to be and I'll just get better in general.

So far I'm planning to make little skits about the critters either at the end of my book or in a different one. If you have any requests for those I'll put them in.

-Critters

Dogday:
Pronouns- He/Him
Height- 6'5
Child Name- Samual Martin
Memory- He remembers his child name and the entire process of turning into a toy
About- He is very energetic, seems to always overreact, and he's enthusiastic. He loves all of his friends and has nothing against the children
Abilities- He has good hearing and a incredible sense of smell
Job- Teach the children to be nice to each other
Order- He was the first Smiling Critter made

Bubba:
Pronouns- He/Him
Height- 6'8
Child Name- Thomas Miller
Memory- Nothing (ironic right?)
About- He is very studious, very forgiving, and he doesn't like sports. He cares about all the other critters and loves teaching the children random trivia
Abilities- He has good hearing, he has a remarkable memory, and he can grab things with his trunk
Job- Helps the teachers teach the kids
Order- He was the second critter made

Crafty:
Pronouns- She/Her
Height- 5'10
Child Name- Rose Quadera (don't ask how to pronounce that)
Memory- Remembers what she looks like
About- She is very timid, enjoys drawing/painting, and she likes romance novels. She cares about everyone like sibling, including the children
Abilities- She is a pretty quick runner while on all fours
Job- She teaches the kids how to do arts and crafts
Order- She was the third critter made

Hoppy:
Pronouns- She/Her
Height- 5'11
Child Name- Jessica Jewels
Memory- Remembers her name and her looks
About- She is energetic, absolutely loves sports, and she has small anger issues. She cares about her friends, a lot but can get annoyed by them often and she almost explodes with excitement when a child asks her to teach them a sport
Abilities- She is very fast, can jump very high, and has good hearing
Job- She plays sport with the children
Order- She was the fourth critter made

Bobby:
Pronouns- She/Her
Height- 5'8
Child Name- Ruby Beach
Memory- Remembers her voice
About- She is very fond of everyone and everything, loves watching relationships bloom, and she would never hurt anyone. She loves her friends just as much as Dogday and adores the children
Abilities- She has a very good grip and sense of smell
Abilities- She is extremely flexible
Job- She is a sort of therapist for some of the children
Order- She was the fifth critter made
