After much convincing and a bit of yelling, Dogday had finally gotten the others to somewhat agree on him taking Catnap to this mysterious room.

It was a journey the two would take alone, while the others were looking for supplies and discussing survival strategies in their absence.

He was extremely baffled when Catnap had insisted on picking up the minis body and cradling it in his arms like a newborn. Dogday tried to ignore the somewhat disturbed looks from the others.

Nonetheless, he swiftly picked up the feline, and carried him off. Every so often, Catnap would lift a paw and point, leading Dogday in the right direction.

"How far is this place?" Dogday asked, still unsure if this was a mistake.

"N-not m-m-much far-farther." The cat replied, softly resting his head on the canine's chest.

Catnap pointed again, this time at a door with a sign above it reading 'Holding Lab'. Dogday shuddered, recoiling from the room.

Catnap looked at him curiously, not understanding. Dogday just stared at the sign, his tail in between his legs.

"Catnap, what's in there?" Dogday asked, suddenly disgusted.

"A r-r-room with box-boxes." He replied, looking at the dog like he was an idiot.

"What's in the boxes?" Dogday questioned, not approaching the door. Catnap blinked, searching in his foggy memory for the answer.

"F-friends."

Dogday turned his head to look at him, his eyes wide and confused. Catnap just pointed at the door, clutching the minis body closer to him.

Dogday sighed, and took a few steps forward. He pushed open the door, and was greeted with a lab full of little glass viles, and testing tubes.

He glared at the room, especially after looking at a cabinet labeled 'Restraints'. Catnap didn't seem to notice, pointing at one of the hallways.

Dogday grimaced as he passed a door labeled 'Training Room'. Eventually, the feline gave one last point, and Dogday turned to the door.

'Experimental Chamber 678'

He opened the door, intrigued when there was four boxes laid out on the floor. Three big, one small.

Catnap motioned for Dogday to set him down near the large box in the middle, and the cat immediately pulled Dogday next to him when he had.

Dogday looked up, ready to yell at the cat for pulling him, but he stopped himself when he saw tears in the feline's eyes.

The feline sniffled.

Dogday followed the cat's gaze, which was locked directly onto the middle box. It was silent for a moment, not uncomfortable but not pleasant either.

"Moon- Catnap, what are we doing here?" Dogday asked, positioning himself to sit in a more relaxed position.

"C-could you gr-grab one o-o-of the sm-small boxes f-for me?" He said, not looking at the canine.
