"i see that we've been running around in these peculiar towns."_____________________________________
HOLDING hands had become a natural thing between the two, as they walked side by side down the familiar streets of the small town they had grown up in. Both a blessing and a curse, it seemed.
Haewon hummed occasionally, as Heeseung was speaking, quietly assuring him that he had her attention. He told her about his day, but mainly all that happened in the game as she unfortunately had to miss it.
"The other team was just playing really, really dirty. Jake got fouled within two minutes of being subbed in, and the refs had to kick out some of their students, because they were standing behind our goal and talking down to our keeper." He explained, lips pursed momentarily.
"But, we won, anyway. It was four to three." Heeseung concluded, turning his head to face her as his eyes skimmed over her expression, as she nodded her head in understanding.
"Sounds like a fun game to be at from a viewer's perspective." The girl chuckled, turning to meet his gaze as he laughed quietly along with her and nodded his head in agreement.
"Oh, I'm sure. There was a lot of arguing. I'm sure it was like a drama to everyone in the stands." Heeseung muttered jokingly, as she let a smile spread across her lips.
"Man, I wish I was there." Haewon sighed exasperatedly, as he gave her hand a gentle squeeze and tugged her close to his side. "But, there'll be other games, I guess."
"Exactly." Heeseung let out in agreement, nodding his head as his eyes shifted to the path in front of them.
"You'll get your show eventually. And, if you take more pictures for the team from the sidelines, you'll be front row." He added jokingly, as she laughed in response.
"Guess I gotta request to take more photos for the yearbook, yeah?" Haewon rolled her eyes playfully, as he nodded eagerly for dramatic effect.
"Honestly, at this rate, there's gonna be way too many pictures of the soccer team this year. I gotta make room for the other athletic teams, too." She pointed, clicking her tongue.
"Okay, okay. Save all the picture taking for the tournament then. That's more of a memorable moment, right? You could put it in the headline of the photo." He asked, tilting his head as he trailed off.
