"can't think right, too tongue-tied. it must be love."_________________________
THE gentle rustling of the trees could be heard through the crack of the window, resting quietly in the broadcasting room.
She rested her head on the blue tabletop in the middle of the club room, her hair draped over her shoulders messily as the soft, occasional click from a computer mouse filled her ears.
Jang Miyeon stood a little bit in front of her, leaning against the desk that a computer rested on, staring at the screen as she waited for the data from her camera to finish uploading into its files.
"Miyeon," Haewon called out, earning a hum from said girl, who kept her attention on the computer screen. "What does it feel like to be in love?”
Miyeon breathed out a laugh, raising a brow as she lifted her head, peering over at her friend momentarily. "So suddenly?”
"Mhm." Haewon let out, as Miyeon hummed and let a smile fall onto her lips.
"Being in love — well, there's many different ways to describe it. And, there's different types of love. Some experience it differently." Miyeon expressed, as Haewon lifted her head from the table, sitting upright in her seat.
"Well, what are some prime examples of it?" The girl questioned, head tilting off to the side.
"Well.. you feel happy about your person. Happy, and nervous. A constant flutter in your heart, or butterflies in your stomach." Miyeon listed out, lips tucked into a thin line as she trailed off in thought.
"You care for them deeply, and think about them a lot. You feel giddy around them, or even at the thought of them. You grow nervous, or flustered, moreso.”
"You can't stop thinking about them, and you can't seem to imagine a future without them. You view them as someone you wanna spend your life with, and feel safe around." Miyeon added on quietly, moving from the computer screen to see back down across from Haewon.
Haewon nodded, her mind drifting back to her own certain someone as she rested her chin in the palm of her hand. "Thank you."
Miyeon nodded her head, eyes skimming over Haewon's expression before speaking up again.
"Might I ask why you're suddenly so curious?" Miyeon questioned, as Haewon turned to meet her curious gaze.
