I stood outside the Athena cabin, clutching my notebook tightly., I was curious about everything, especially the stories of the Greek gods. I had heard that the Athena cabin had the best books, and I was eager to read them. But as soon as I tried to enter, Annabeth and the other kids blocked my way.

"Why do you even want to come in here?" Annabeth's voice was sharp, her eyes narrowing at me. "You're not one of us."

"I just want to read," I said softly, my voice trembling. But they laughed, and the sound echoed in my ears, making me feel small and unwanted. Tears welled up in my eyes, and I turned away, running to a quiet spot near the cabins.

I sat down, hugging my knees to my chest, and let the tears fall. Why did they have to be so mean? All I wanted was to learn about the gods. Lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice Lysander approaching until he knelt down beside me.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Lysander's voice was gentle, a stark contrast to his usual tough demeanor.

I sniffled and looked up at him. "They won't let me in. They said I'm not one of them."

Lysander's eyes darkened with anger. "They can't treat you like that," he said firmly. "Stay here. I'll handle it."

I watched as Lysander marched over to the Athena cabin. My heart pounded in my chest, wondering what he was going to do. Moments later, I saw him carefully placing something around the cabin. It took a moment for me to realize they were spiders-real spiders.

Suddenly, screams erupted from the Athena cabin. Kids ran out, swatting at the spiders and yelling in panic. Annabeth was among them, her face pale with fear.

Lysander walked back to me, a satisfied smirk on his face. "There, that should teach them a lesson," he said.

I couldn't help but giggle at the sight. Annabeth glared at us from a distance, but she didn't dare approach. With the cabin temporarily abandoned, I took a deep breath and walked inside. My heart raced as I found the book I had been longing to read.

I sat down with the book about all the Greek gods, feeling a mix of excitement and gratitude. Lysander had stood up for me, and now I could finally find out who might be my godly parent. As I turned the pages, I couldn't help but smile, knowing that I had a friend who had my back.

Maybe Elara should be worshiping the ground that Artemis walked on like how Grover currently was-Grover gasped, then knelt hastily in the snow and started yammering, "Thank you, Lady Artemis! You're so...you re so...Wow!"
