I woke with a start, my heart pounding in my chest. The darkness of the Hermes cabin pressed in around me, making the unfamiliar bed feel even more alien. I tried to grasp at the remnants of the nightmare, but it slipped away like sand through my fingers, leaving only the lingering fear that clung to me like a shadow. I glanced around the room, seeing the other kids sleeping peacefully, completely unaware of my distress.
A soft creak of the floorboards caught my attention. I turned to see an older boy with sandy black hair and dark brown eyes approaching my bed. His concerned expression made my heart ache a little less.
"Hey, are you okay?" he asked gently, his voice soothing in the quiet cabin.
I shook my head, my hands trembling uncontrollably. "I... I don't remember," I whispered, tears welling up in my eyes. "But it was so scary."
The boy nodded, his understanding gaze making me feel slightly less alone. "I'm Luke," he said, offering me a reassuring smile. "I know it's tough being new here, especially when you can't remember much. But you're safe now, okay?"
I sniffled, trying to hold back my tears. "I'm Elara," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper.
Luke reached out and gently took my hand, his touch warm and comforting. "It's nice to meet you, Elara. Do you want to talk about it? Sometimes it helps to just get it out."
I shook my head again, the fear still gripping my heart. "I don't remember the nightmare. Just the fear."
Luke squeezed my hand gently, his presence a calming balm to my frayed nerves. "That's okay. You don't have to remember. Just know that you're safe here. Do you want to try and get some more sleep? I can stay with you until you feel better."
I looked into his kind eyes and nodded, feeling a wave of gratitude wash over me. "Okay," I said softly.
Luke pulled up a chair and sat beside my bed, keeping my hand in his. "Close your eyes and try to relax. I'll be right here if you need me."
I lay back down, feeling a little more at ease with Luke by my side. As I closed my eyes, the fear began to fade, replaced by a sense of safety and comfort. Luke wouldn't hurt me.

"Percy , Grover..." Chiron broke the stunned silence,
"Please take the Oracle back to the attic."
Too stunned to reject, Percy and Grover grabbed the Oracle and started to carry her away.Murmurs flooded the audience but there was one main word repeatedly said:
"Elara..."
