Harry stands in his room, mesmerised by the way Louis' cheeks tint a delicate shade of pink. As he speaks, Louis glances down, his lashes casting soft shadows on his flushed skin.
Harry can’t help but smile, a warmth spreading through him. "You know, Lou, your blush is my favourite colour."
Louis playfully nudges him, his gaze meeting Harry's with a mixture of bashfulness and affection. "Stop it, you cheeky charmer."
Harry's fingers brush against Louis' hand, and their eyes lock in a silent exchange of shared emotions. In that moment, the room feels filled with an unspoken understanding, and Harry can’t help but feel an overwhelming fondness for the blushing man standing next to him.
“Come with me bellezza,” Harry says simply and takes Louis’ hand in his.
“I swear to God, if you're planning on taking a walk with me instead of fucking me into oblivion, I'm going to freak out!” Louis exclaims annoyed but follows him anyway while Harry just laughs out loud.
“Just come with me and stop complaining. You'll like it," Harry finally replies.
Louis just rolls his eyes and Harry has to smile at that. When they get to the stairs, he takes Louis' bridal style in his arms, eliciting a squeal of delight from Louis, and then runs with him down the stairs, out of the villa and into the adjacent forest. A little further away behind the trees he finally stops with Louis in front of a smaller house and sets Louis down again.
“What kind of house is this?” Louis asks, frowning at it.
“At that time, this was the building next door to the villa and served as a guest house. No other vampires are allowed in here, it’s just mine,” Harry explains.
Harry guides Louis towards the charming old guest house on the villa's grounds. As they step inside, Louis is met with a delightful surprise – a fusion of modern aesthetics seamlessly interwoven with the vintage charm of the original structure.
Louis' eyes widen in wonder as he takes in the sleek furnishings and contemporary design elements complemented by the preserved, intricate details of the old architecture.
"Harry, this is incredible!" Louis exclaims, admiring the stylish interiors.
Harry grins, pleased with Louis' reaction. "I wanted to keep the history alive while adding a touch of modern comfort. Come, let me show you around."
They explore the space, discover a state-of-the-art kitchen, a cosy living area with large windows framing the garden and a bedroom where the echoes of the past meet the comforts of the present.
Louis turns to Harry, his admiration shining in his eyes. "It's like stepping into the past and the future at the same time. You've truly made it special."
