Zygerria, 7957 C.RC

With their newfound knowledge that Zygerrian slavers were involved in the disappearance of the colonists, the Jedi Council decided that the best course of action would be travelling to Zygerria — home of the galaxy's most notorious slave empire. Aboard Darts D'Nar's ship, that they'd obtained from the man back on Kiros, Anakin, Kaia, Obi-Wan, Caleb, Ahsoka and Rex were travelling through hyperspace.

They'd managed to catch some sleep during the journey since travelling through hyperspace only required the autopilot to work. But since they still needed to figure out a plan for infiltrating the slave market, they had decided to gather in the cockpit a few hours before their estimated arrival.

When Kaia arrived, the boys were already there; the padawans were still sleeping since they were younger and needed to be alert when they got to Zygerria.  "Okay, what is the plan then?" Kaia asked, entering the cockpit. When neither Anakin or Obi-Wan answered, in fact they were both avoiding looking her in the eye. "What?"

"Anakin, this is your plan," Obi-Wan said, looking over at his former apprentice, "you should get the honour of," he cleared his throat, "briefing Kaia."

Kaia turned to Anakin with an expectant look. In a rare sign of nervousness, Anakin rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, "We need a way to get in unnoticed to search for the colonists. So Obi-Wan and I both agreed that we should pretend to be slave traders who are there for the auction. But for that to work, we need to present her with — slaves-"

"Skywalker," Kaia said slowly, in an eerily calm voice, "are you trying to tell me that you want me to play a slave?"

"I don't want you to," Anakin sighed, "but it's the only plan I have right now. If you have another idea, please let us know."

Kaia chewed the inside of her cheek as she thought it over. They couldn't exactly attack Zygerria with three Jedi, two padawans and a clone captain; the Zygerrians were absolutely not likely to cooperate with any Jedi since they were the reason their slave empire fell in the first place. The only option they had if they wanted to obtain information about the colonists' whereabouts was to go undercover.

The Zygerrian Queen wouldn't just accept anyone into her slave market. To get any useful information they somehow needed to gain her trust and the easiest way to do so was by presenting her with slaves. Meaning one of them needed to play the part of a slave. Of course she could have argued that one of the guys could act as slaves, but Kaia knew that it would seem too suspicious if she was the one who acted as master and the men as slaves.
