!!! TW: Separation. This chapter bridges The Original Trilogy with The Sequels. This means that Armi leaves home. And Y/n, is not a happy camper. Its cool if you need to skip to the next chapter.

About nine months later.

This whole stupid thing could have been handled in a holo-mail. You think, trying not to look bored out of your mind.

The meeting has been going on for hours, with no end in sight. It's a meeting of the Jedi Council, except for Leia because she's on maternity leave and a few heads of the New Republic Spy Network. The representatives from the Spy Network are a female human and a male Bothan.

For the past hour, they've been discussing the need for a person on the inside of the Imperial Remenat. They would need to climb the ranks so higher-ups wouldn't be so suspicious.

The idea has been bounced around a few times about a youngling being the spy, but that still left a few problems. Such as, who's to say they wouldn't be corrupted and fall to the Dark Side? Also, places like this usually check Mediclorians so there goes any Force Sensatives.

You glance at the chronometer on your wrist computer.

Armi's almost out of school for the day...I wonder if I could use him as a reason to skoot out.

"What about Armitage Hux?" The Bothan asks, clocking a button so Armi's file shows up on the holo-display.

Hearing his name snaps your attention back to the meeting.

"I'm sorry?" You ask.

"I suggested Armitage Hux as our possible person on the inside."

"Why?" You ask, your voice beginning to take on an edge.

"For starters, he has good grades. He isn't Force-sensitive. He is the right age to join and climb the ranks. And to top it off, his father is Brendol Hux, the head of the Remenat's Storm Trooper training." The female says.

"I'm aware of all this, but why Armitage?" You ask, feeling your annoyance begin to rise. "He's been with me for the best part of three years."

Been trying to counter Brendol 's influence for three years. Where has the time gone? You think.

"If we can craft him a cover that his father would believe then it would have a better chance of working."

You lace your fingers and mull this over.

Frankly, the more you think about it, the more you want to Force Throw a heavy desk across an open field.

"If need be, you could be his handler."

Or I could bare-knuckle box both of you out on the docking bay for your laser-brained suggestions. You think, but keep your expression the same as it's been for the conversation.

"The council will support Y/N's decision, whichever it is." Luke says.

You nod.

You're about to say Not in this lifetime. When you're hit by the beginnings of a Force Shatterpoint.

Right on schedule, You mentally growl, bracing for impact. Tampering with the galactic timeline, whatcha got for me?

I'm attempting a nature vs nurture approach. You hear your voice.

All remaining systems will bow before The First Order and will remember this as the last day of the Republic! You hear an Adult Armi, speaking.

I'm the spy.
