When Noah got back to his hotel room his brain was still reeling from his conversation with Samantha. He was still trying to process the fact that she thought her parents were dead. She said they were dead five years ago, but he spoke to them a few months after she dissappeared, which was like three years ago. Something wasn't adding up.

When he asked how long she was married, she said three years ago, which coincided with what the investigator found. Why did that sound so coincidental, the time frame. Samantha didn't remember when she met her husband, the wedding or anything concerning their relationship prior to the coma.

Noah poured himself a drink and sat thinking. He didn't doubt for one minute it was Samantha. He got the same feelings around her and he knew she felt something from the way her eyes would linger on certain parts of him and she would flush when he caught her.

There were some inconsistencies with what she was told. Yes the coma as they both knew could cause memory loss and gaps in memory, but something didn't seem right. She relied on her husband to fill her in on what she didn't know, and she couldn't remember anything, after three years. That struck him as odd. He just couldn't shake the feeling that something was off and he was missing a piece of the puzzel.

He needed to get concrete proof that she was definitely Samantha and that the boys were his and his brother. What he needed to do, was to have an indepth investigation done on Shaun Davis. He had a feeling a lot of the answers lay with him.

Noah had requested a paternity test for the kids but Samantha was refusing and said she didn't know how Shaun would allow it. He told her that Shaun didn't need to know, and that he was giving her two weeks or he was going to seek legal advice. Her eyes had really widened with panic with that one. He was hoping the threat would be enough to make her cooperate with him although he could see that he was pushing her too hard. She was looking confused and upset, staring off, biting her lips and wringing her hands. He wanted legal action to be the last resort but he needed to uncover the truth.

Samantha was still skeptical about the information he gave her, and he saw that as well reflecting in her eyes and he was sure she had doubts about certain things in her life now that he made certain things known. Noah knew he was asking her to question the life she knew and that wasn't going to be easy.

It was really hard talking to her, watching her get all emotional. Noah just wanted to go over and sit next to Samantha, touch her like he use to. The feeling was so strong it pained him that he couldn't. When she spoke and his eyes fell on her lips, the memories of them kissing would flood his mind.
