"He's still your brother. I think she's just frightened from the whole experience."
Noah nodded.
Samantha came down after the bath.
"Come love, let me get something for you to eat." His mom called.
Samantha smiled weakly.
Noah talked with her while they waited for his mom to prepare something. He pulled her close and of course he noticed how she stiffened.
"You okay?"
She nodded.
"You know you can tell me anything."
She nodded again.
"You know if it's Liam he can be persecuted for kidnapping and anything else."
She didn't say anything.
Noah's mom watched her worried.
Noah on the other hand was planning for his brother. He was going to find him and he didn't know how his reaction was going to be when he did.
The next day, Noah went down for breakfast. He didn't want to disturb Samantha. If she came down ok but if she didn't, he'd leave her let her sleep in.
He tried calling Liam, of course he didn't answer. He called around to the friends they shared but nobody had seen him.
His mom came down at 11am from upstairs carrying a tray. "Noah, where's Samantha?"
"She didn't come down for breakfast, so I assume she's in her room. I didn't want to disturb her." He said.
"Well I carried this tray of food for her but she's not there."
He got up immediately and went to her room. She wasn't there as his mother had said. Noah looked around confused. He opened the closet and her clothes were gone. He felt a pain in his chest, not wanting to believe. On the dresser was a note. He read it, growing pale and upset.

"Noah, when you find this note, you know that I have left. I just couldn't stay, for reason I can't explain. Forgive me for taking the baby away from you. I still love you, but sometimes some things are not meant to be. Forever loving you.
Dimples."
The note fell out of Noah's hand and he started crying.
