They sat having dinner. The twins in their highchairs making a ton load of mess not even getting half of what they were eating in their mouths.

"Shaun. I was thinking about my parents." Samantha said, playing with the food on her plate.

He spooned some food into his mouth. "Oh. How come?"

"I don't know. They just came to my mind and that I can't remember how they passed. I remembered you told me." She looked up at him. "Can you tell me again how we found out?"

His spoon came down. "Sam there's not much to tell because it was a really difficult time for us. I don't really like to think about it and even though you don't remember, I don't want you to get upset."

Was Shaun being evasive. She looked up at him, feeling confused and uncertain. "I won't get upset Shaun. How did you find out about it? I don't think I ever asked you."

He frowned and sighed. " Samantha, I don't want you to think I'm keeping anything from you, but I just don't want to bring up that time in our lives. It's just too much of a painful memory. I know it's not the answer you're looking for, but re-visiting the pain wouldn't be good for either of us."

She didn't want to persist for him to feel like she didn't trust him. So she busied herself cleaning the kid's face, scraping up food from the table back into their bowls and trying to encourage them to drink some water.

They cleaned up after dinner, played with the kids a bit, and sprawled together in bed watching a movie. Samatha was laying across him, head on his chest her mind far. She squealed when Shaun rolled her over and was above her, pressing urgent kisses on her lips. She responded back just as urgently, arms going around his neck, legs around his hips.

They got lost in each other and things escalated super fast. Clothes went flying and their passion went to a combustable level. The passion and desire between them was intense. She melted into his touch, her body responding to his every move. Her breath came in shallow gasps as she gave into the passion and let herself be swept away by the moment. She couldn't think about anything else but the two of them, and the sensation of his skin against hers. Noah and all he said was forgotten. Their conversation before now, gone clear out of their heads.

There was only the sounds of their moans in the room, while their bodies intertwined, making the heat between them palpable. Afterwards they drifted off to sleep exhausted. The bed in a disarray, clothes strewn all over and the room smelling of their passion. Best sleep aide ever, because they slept peacefully and woke up the next morning feeing rested. They watched each other adoringly, and she kissed him goodbye when when he left for work.
