The day of the wedding came fast, and Eddie was nervous to say the least. He couldn't wait to Marry Buck, to marry his best friend but he was terrified of being a bad husband. He knew he wasn't the greatest husband to Shannon, and he was afraid he would be a terrible husband to Buck. Shannon had reassured the man for what felt like hours that he wasn't a bad husband to her, but he knew she was just saying that to make him feel better about himself, it didn't work. But he willed himself to calm down at the thought of seeing Buck at the end of the aisle (Bobby and Athena's backyard.) in just a few short minutes.
Everyone gathered in the backyard as the ceremony started, Bobby standing in the middle ready to officiate as Buck and Maddie made their way down the aisle. Buck had been a nervous wreck the whole time while getting ready. He was convinced that either of their parents were going to show up and cause a scene, but Athena has reassured him that wouldn't happen and if it did, they would be escorted away from the property, nobody was going to ruin her baby's wedding. And if she saw Buck shed a tear at that, she didn't say a single word.
Buck stood there and watched as Shannon walked Eddie down the aisle, kissing his cheek as she handed him off to Buck, the two grinning widely at each other. They were finally getting married, and they couldn't be happier about it. When the music dies down Bobby smiles at the two and clasps his hands in front of him. "As we gather here today, two hearts unite in an act of true love and commitment. With open arms, they invite each other to share the joys -as well as challenges-that their marriage may bring them over this journey of life together." Bobby speaks and everyone starts to get misty eyed. "Today marks the joyous occasion of two kindred spirits joining in harmonious union. Now, I understand you two have written your own vows, Buck you go first."
Buck reaches a shaky hand into the pocket of his slacks and pulls out the papers that have his vows written on them. "Today, Eddie, I join my life to yours, not merely as your partner but as your best friend, your lover and your confidant. Your love is unlike any I have ever experienced, and that's not much." He chuckles softly, reaching his free hand out to grab one of Eddies, rubbing his thumb across the smooth skin of his hand. "It's warm. it's real. it's unquestionable. I promise to always love you the same in return, to make sure you know the deepness of my love, my admiration, my appreciation, my indescribable awe for you each and every day of your life." He sniffles and laughs softly to himself. "I love you Eddie Diaz, I love you and Christopher so much and I'm so lucky to have you both as my family."
Bobby wipes a few tears from his face as he turns to Eddie. "Eddie, your turn."
"Buck, I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I promise you my unconditional love, tenderness and undying devotion, to not ask you to be more than you are, and to love you for being you." Eddie squeezes Buck's hand gently. "Thank you for being the best thing to happen to me and to Christopher."
"Alright, time to exchange the rings." Bobby spoke and Christopher walks up with the box in his hand, holding it open. Buck takes Eddie's ring in his hand after pocketing his vows. "Do you, Buck, take this man to be your wedded husband?"
"I do." Buck grins widely as he slips the ring onto Eddie's left ring finger and brings it up to his lips to press a soft kiss to it.
Bobby turns to Eddie once more. "Do you, Eddie, take this man to be your wedded husband?"
Eddie takes the ring from Christopher. "I do." He says and places the ring on Buck's left ring finger. He holds onto the mans hand tightly.
"I now pronounce you husband and husband. You may now kiss the groom." Bobby says and Buck immediately pulls Eddie close to him, hand resting on his waist as he crashes his lips to his husbands.
"Ew gross!" Chris exclaims and slaps a hand over his eyes, making their guests laugh as they clap.

"Thank you so much for joining us to celebrate Buck and Eddie finally tying the knot!" Maddie grins, Jee Yun in her arms as she stands by the happily married couple. "These two had decided to forego any speeches but I just wanted to tell them both how proud I am of them. I'm so happy that Buck has found someone to spend the rest of his life with and I'm happy that it's with Eddie. For the longest time I knew that these two would have something special. I love you both and I wish you nothing but happiness for the rest of your lives." She says and hugs the two before they continued on with the small celebration.
Everyone ate and danced, the two husbands sharing their first dance and Buck bawled the entire time from how happy he was. He couldn't stop referring to Eddie as his husband, and he probably wouldn't for a long time.
Once the party died down, the two left to head to their hotel for the night. They weren't going on their honeymoon for another couple of weeks, but everyone insisted that they at least take a couple of days to themselves as newlyweds and who were they to turn the alone time down.
"I can't believe we're finally married." Buck gushes as they walk into the hotel room.
"Me neither, now come here. I want to make love to my husband." Eddie grins and pulls Buck over to the bed and pushing him down onto the soft mattress. The two spend the whole weekend between being intimate and gushing over the fact that they are married to each other.
Fifteen-year-old Buck would be over the moon to know he had gotten together with his best friend, that he had married his best friend. That's all he had ever wanted.
