I got inspired to write a bonus chapter. Hope you enjoy!!

Years later Eddie found himself sitting at the front of the church while a twenty-one-year-old Christopher stood at the altar waiting for his bride to walk down, Buck by his side, despite the man arguing that it should have been Eddie up there instead of him. Adelaide, Chase and Amelia were sat next to Eddie, along with Shannon who couldn't stop crying as she watched her baby marry the love of his life. Vows were said and Christopher kissed his wife, Sarah before heading back down the aisle. Everyone was in tears by this point.

During the reception Adelaide walked up to her dads, an unfamiliar girl trailing behind her. "Dads." She spoke, nervously. "This is my girlfriend, Rhiannon. Rhiannon, these are my dad's, Buck and Eddie."

Eddie and Buck look at each other, a knowing look on their faces before pulling Adelaide into a bone crushing hug. "We were waiting for you to introduce her to us." Buck tells their daughter, raising a brow at her.

"How'd you know?" She asks, confusion lacing her voice.

Eddie laughs. "You were never subtle while talking about your friend sweetheart. Anytime you would talk about her I swear you had heart eyes." Buck just nods in agreement.

The girl blushes furiously and grabs her girlfriend's hand, trying to make a beeline for it before her dads could embarrass her even more. "We're happy for you by the way. As long as you're happy." Buck smiles. "Nice to meet you, Rhiannon."

"Nice to meet you too Mr. and Mr. Diaz." Rhiannon says politely, gently squeezing Adelaide's hand. "Let's go dance." She says to her girlfriend and pulls her away to the dance floor.

"Next thing you know Addy's going to be married." Eddie sighs dramatically. "I wasn't ready for Chris to get married, but I think I'll be a mess when Addy eventually does." He chuckles, grabbing Buck's hand.

Buck squeezes his husband's hand and looks around. "I wasn't ready for it either. But he's happy so that's all that matters. We just want our kids to be happy." He says softly, spotting Chase and Amelia who were with Maddie, Chimney and Jee.

Everyone was there. The entirety of the 118 showed up, even Eddie's parents, but they didn't stay for the reception. "Addy just introduced me to her girlfriend." Shannon spoke as she walked up to the two men, wine glass in hand.

"Yeah, us too." Buck says. "Eddie's already talking about her getting married."

"I don't even want to think about that." Shannon groans and sits at the table with them. "I swear I brought her into this world just last week and now she's eighteen? It's crazy to me."

Eddie nods and takes a swig of his beer. "Agreed and the twins are almost teenagers. I need them all to stop growing up."

"I second that." Buck held his beer up and the three cheers'd to that.

---

Buck and Eddie were sitting in the hospital waiting room, waiting to hear news about their first-born grandchild. The two had always thought Christopher would be the first to start a family but they were wrong. Adelaide and Rhiannon had split up two months after Chris' wedding and a few months after that she had met a nice young man that her dads loved. The two had wound up getting pregnant at nineteen, despite not even had talking about a family yet but Adelaide was ready, she had always wanted kids.

"Mr. and Mr. Diaz." Alex breathed as he walked into the waiting room, spotting the two men. "He's here."

Buck and Eddie immediately stand up and follow Alex to the room, Buck immediately going to Adelaide's side, pressing a kiss to her hair. "I'm so proud of you sweetheart." He said and looked down at the little bundle of joy in her arms. "What's his name?"

Addy smiles and looks at her son. "Remember when I asked what your real name was?" She asked and Buck nods, waiting for the girl to continue. "I was hoping we could name him Evan." She says softly. "If not, it's totally okay. I know you hate the name, I just wanted to name him after you."

Buck tears up immediately, Eddie instantly at his side, holding his hand. "Of course you can name him Evan."

Eddie smiles and looks down at their grandson. "So if you're naming him Evan, what's his middle name going to be?" He questions.

"Evan Edmundo Jones." Addy tells her parents and Eddie teared up immediately. "Wanted to name him after two of the most important men in my life. My dads. I love you guys so much."

"We love you too baby girl. We're so proud of you." Eddie smiles. "Now let us hold our grandbaby."

---

Chase and Amelia were fifteen and they were begging their dads for a puppy. "But Daaaaad we'll take care of it!" Amelia whines, following Eddie around the house, trying to get him to agree to getting a" puppy.

"You told us years ago that we could get one, but we never did." Chase counters and that's how Eddie and Buck found themselves at the humane society looking at the puppies.

"I can't believe you gave in." Eddie says.

"You're the one that told them a long time ago that they could get one." Buck huffs, pointing to one of the puppies, a Pitbull puppy. "That one. It keeps staring at us like we should take it home."

"But you didn't have to give in." Eddie groans. "We're going to be the ones taking care of it."

Buck just shrugs his shoulders, not even caring. "As long as our kids are happy Eddie. That's all I really care about."

"You're lucky I love you, you big softy." Eddie smiles and pecks his husbands' lips.

"I love you too. So much." Buck smiles.

The two brought the puppy home and much to their surprise the twins actually took initiative and took care of it. When they finally graduated and left home for college though, Buck and Eddie insisted that Sonny stay with them so he didn't get homesick, but really, it was because Eddie would have missed him too much.
