Two days later and Eddie was walking into the house, car seat in hand while Buck trailed behind him with the bag that they had at the hospital with them. Christopher met them at the door, buzzing with excitement, Maddie nearly having to hold him back just so that the two men could walk through the door.

"Hey Chris." Eddie smiles and sets down the car seat next to his feet and picks the boy up. Man was he getting big. He hated that his son was growing up. "Thank you for watching him, Maddie."

Maddie smiles and looks at Christopher. "It was no problem, Chim just came to get Jee a bit ago so she's not trying to smother Adelaide." She chuckles and looks at Buck now, hands on her hips. "Now, let me meet my beautiful niece." She says and Buck nods, leaning down to carefully take the baby out of the seat and gently placing her in her aunt's waiting arms.

Maddie rocks her softly as she starts to fuss, cooing at her when she calms down almost instantly. "She's so precious you two. And I love how she has Buck's birthmark."

"Yeah, Eddie does too." Buck Chuckles and kicks his shoes off.

Eddie just shrugs and his cheeks turn pink. "What can I say? It's cute." He says softly, pressing a kiss to Christopher's head and setting him down on the ground.

"My turn to hold her." The boy says and practically demands his aunt Maddie to follow him into the living room so he can hold his baby sister. He was so excited for her to come.

Buck laughs and grabs Eddie's hand, squeezing gently. "I love you."

"I love you too." Eddie hums and leads Buck to join the other three in the living room.

"How's Shannon doing?" Maddie asks, glancing up to look at her brother and his husband.

Eddie sits down next to Christopher and smiles at him. "She's doing great. She couldn't wait to leave to go home." He laughs softly. "She said that she was excited to be alone in her own house."

"Good, I'm glad she's doing well. I'll have to check in on her." Maddie says and stands up from the couch. "As much as I love you all and would love to spend some more time with my niece, I do have to get going. I have a shift in about an hour." She says, leaning down to hug Eddie and doing the same with Buck. "Bye Chris, Bye Adelaide. Aunt Maddie loves you both."

Chris looks up at Maddie and grins. "We love you too."

That night was a rough one. Buck and Eddie got up in shifts as Adelaide of course woke up multiple times during the night and neither of them got much sleep when their alarms finally go off to get up in time for Christopher to wake up. Buck groans and stops the alarm, grimacing when the noise makes Adelaide cry. The two men had a bassinet next to their bed, Eddie sits up and reaches over, grabbing the crying baby and gently rocking her, trying to get her to calm down.

"She's probably hungry." Buck mumbles, eyes barely open. "She was just changed like an hour ago. But I'm going to go start breakfast for Chris while you get her situated." He says, standing up and stretching, eyebrows furrowing when there's a knock on the front door.

"Who the hell would be knocking on the front door at-" Eddie looks at the time on his phone and sighs. "Eight thirty in the morning. Everyone knows we just brought a newborn home yesterday." He groans.

Buck shrugs and pulls on a pair of sweatpants and one of Eddie's shirts before he makes his way out of the room and to the front door. He lets out a heavy breath as he unlocks the door and opens it, confusion washes over his face when he sees bobby and Athena standing on their doorstep. "Not that I'm not happy to see you guys, but what are you doing here so early?" He asks, knowing if they just wanted to see the baby they would have called or texted to see when they could do so.

Bobby holds up a bag with various Tupperware containers and gives him a smile. "We brought breakfast, lunch and dinner for today." He says and walks inside with Athena right behind him as Buck opens the door a little wider. "Sorry for showing up unannounced though."

"It's okay Bobby. I actually appreciate it right now because I don't know how I'm going to cook Christopher breakfast. Eddie and I both probably got about two hours of sleep last night, I'm so tired." Buck groans and walks them to the kitchen, watching as Bobby started to heat up the breakfast he had brought over, looked like some sort of breakfast casserole. Buck grabs a few plates and sets them out as Bobby dishes out the food.

Athena grins and reaches over, giving Buck's arm a gentle squeeze. "We figured you'd be tired, that's why Bobby brought over food for you guys. Now, where's Chris and my new granddaughter?" She asks, raising a brow.

"Eddie has Adelaide in the bedroom. He must have gotten her to calm down, and Chris must still be asleep." Buck says and yawns before he looks over to see Chris making his way down the hallway. "Never mind, I stand corrected."

Bobby and Athena both chuckle at that. "Hey kid, breakfast is ready." Bobby says and sets Chris's plate down on the kitchen table, smiling when Chris gives Buck a hug and walks over and takes a seat at the table and starts eating his breakfast. "Buck, you go and get Eddie so you two can eat too."

"No need." Eddie says, walking out to the kitchen with a small bundle in his arms. "You didn't have to bring anything over Bobby, we would have figured it out. But thank you so much." He says gratefully.

"It's not a problem Eddie. Now let Athena see that baby before she combusts." Bobby Chuckles, cleaning up and putting everything else in the fridge for the two to warm up later. He sets the other two plates on the table and gestures towards them. "Have breakfast with Chris."

Buck nods and sits down next to Christopher, Eddie hands Adelaide off to Athena before doing the same.

"She's beautiful you two." Athena coos, looking down at the small baby.

Bobby smiles and wraps his arm around Athenas waist. "She really is. She's going to be a troublemaker when she's older though, I feel it." Everyone chuckled at that, even Christopher before he went serious.

"I'll make sure she isn't. She'll learn from me and I'm not a troublemaker." He says matter of factly and that also makes everyone laugh.

Another couple of days pass and Buck is introducing Adelaide to Chimney, Hen and Karen. The three fall in love with her instantly, almost fighting over who gets to hold her first. Hen got to hold her first though since she was the one who stayed with Chris while they were at the hospital waiting for Adelaide to make her grand entrance.

Everyone says the same thing, that she's perfect and she has the same birthmark as Buck. Buck was happy that she had at least one thing resembling him because the rest of her looked just like Christopher, and of course the boy noticed that and was ecstatic about it.

Now though, Buck and Eddie were sat on the porch watching Christopher play in the backyard while Adelaide sat in her baby swing that they moved outside since it was such a nice day. Buck couldn't help but look at his life before he got involved with Eddie, he nearly grimaces at the memories, but he didn't. It was in the past, and he has a damn good future now. He glances over at his husband who was watching him and smiles widely, tears collecting in his eyes. He was so happy. He was once lost but now he's found.
