"Ano to, Andres? Huwag mong sabihing aalis ka?" Charles exclaimed at me as we entered inside the airport where our private jet was waiting for us.

"Mahal, bakit naman ako aalis? We're just here to celebrate dahil nakapasa ka sa exam mo," I told her, clutching her hand.

"Daddy, sasakay ba tayo sa airplane?" The little girl next to me asked.

I smiled at her. "Yes, anak. Mamamasyal tayo."

"Yay!" Clau jumped on her position, but the woman on my other side just frowned at me.

"Mamamasyal? Ngayon? Bakit hindi mo sinabi sa akin?" She complained as usual.

I chuckled at her. "Mahal, surprise nga, di ba? Huwag ka nang magalit."

"Paanong hindi ako magagalit eh wala kaming dinalang damit?"

"I think you're forgetting that your baby daddy has a billion dollar trust fund," I pointed out to her.

Charles pressed her lips tight, exhaling a breath. Alam kong galit na naman siya, but I also knew she would forgive me later.

"Let's go!"

As a way of congratulating my soon-to-be wife, napagisipan kong dalhin sila sa birth country ko para makilala na rin sila formally ng aking pamilya. Request rin ni dad na dalhin ko ang aking mag-ina sa France, so how could I say no?

The flight took almost seventeen hours to get to Paris. Normally, I would complain, pero dahil kasama ko naman ang mga mahal ko, I had the best seventeen hours of my life right there.

Nang maka-landing kami sa Paris, we were immediately greeted by Alphonse outside the airport.

"Hello Sir Alexandré, Ma'am Charlemaigne," bati nito.

"Kumusta po kayo?" Charles asked.

"Okay naman po ako, ma'am. Congratulations po pala sa inyo."

Charles smiled. "Thank you po."

"Daddy, saan tayo matutulog?" Clau asked.

"We're going to your grandpa's house," I answered as we entered inside the limousine.

Few minutes later, nakarating kami sa Laurent Manor kung saan ako tumira ng ilang taon kasama ng mga kapatid ko. The whole manor was still covered with vines exactly the same as the last time I was here. Everytime nandito ako, I couldn't help but remember mom.

"We're here!" I announced, stepping out of the car first.
