"How on earth could you do something like that?" Lacey laughed as we sat in a coffee shop near our University. She sipped the coffee she almost spilled on me with that information. I rolled my eyes and began to regret that I she said anything to her at all.

"Stop laughing, Lacey!" I grabbed my head. It was horrible, I could still see his angry expression and his rude voice! Shit, I feel like a little kid! I didn't feel like it at all to go there, but when I remembered how hard I worked, I changed my mind.

"And what was he like?" he suddenly stopped laughing and looked at me with a serious face.

"He was so hard and serious. I'm terrified." I left out the fact that he was sexy as hell. I didn't need her to start drooling too. It was enough for me to make me laugh. She knew very well that when I'm stressed, that I'm inattentive, but when I she didn't really notice him.

Why was she laughing? Personally, I didn't find anything funny about it, "if you saw how he looked at me," I got chills again, "I felt like he wanted to kill me. Those black eyes of his!" they chased me even in my sleep!

"I'm sure he's already forgotten," she waved her hand, "he won't even remember you today." I really hoped so. I don't know what I would do if I did. Could he fire me? Of course, it was his company after all. I looked at my watch and I'm surprised I didn't have a heart attack.

"My God, is that enough? Come on, you'll drive me to work!" she raised her perfectly groomed eyebrows, I drank my time, we got dressed and left our restaurant. We got in the car and after ten excruciating minutes of listening to her curse, I hung my head in defeat. I felt like that if it doesn't click, my brain will explode. I started to regret getting into the car with her at all. I already knew that I wouldn't make that mistake again.

"I swear to God, I'm going to get out of that car and smash that idiot's car!" I grabbed her temples and tiredly massaged them. If she doesn't shut up...

Inhale, exhale, inhale and exhale.

I repeated over and over until the car stopped in front of the Gray building.

"I will never, ever get into a car with you again, Lacey! Don't pick me up tonight, I'll come by taxi, bye!" I told her and got out of the car. I ran inside without greeting her.

"You're late!" I heard in my head as I went to sit at my desk. I raised my head and looked surprised at Celeste - my blonde boss.

"I-I know, sorry. The traffic is terrible," she nodded.

"Fine, send me all the documents for those documents. From today I'm in charge of you." I quickly nodded and got to work.

When I finally finished the last document, it was already after eight in the evening, and it was already yawning with emptiness. I put the already hot paper on the table and walked barefoot with hot tea in my hands along the illuminated and glass corridor. I examined the pictures hanging on the walls with my eyes. I walked over to my desk and put on my jacket. I took my things and shoes in my hands. I slowly walked to the elevator that I called.

The door opened after a while, "No, I want it on the table tomorrow." I don't care-" he fixed his icy gaze on me and shivers ran down my spine. He was leaning against the wall of the elevator in a black suit and holding a phone in his hand, "I want it on my desk tomorrow, take care." and hang up the call.

"Get in, or the elevator will close," he spoke in a voice that went straight to my heart. I quickly came to my senses and got on the moment the doors closed, I clicked to floor zero.

He was so tall and powerful!

He didn't really like me then, but now that I was standing next to him, I felt like a little girl again.

His hands were in his pockets, I closed my eyes and bit my bottom lip. I heard my own heart beating. I opened my eyes and in the reflection of the mirror I saw his dark eyes, which were looking into me. You looked at me like a victim, I didn't like it. The elevator doors opened and I finally got out.

"Good evening, Miss Wood," I turned to him in surprise.

"Good night, Mr. Grey," and the door closed.
